Clothes items can be obtained in a variety of ways and are used to customize the Player Character.

- purchased from Tuxedosam in Tuxedosam's Shop
- obtained from Treasure Chests or Radiant Chests
- by completing Quests
- obtained during special Events
Inventory
In the Inventory, Clothes are found in the Clothes Tab. They can be filtered by Type or by Tag.

Items can also be filtered by Tag. For Clothes, most of these filters are by Event.
Additional Information
Multiplayer
In Multiplayer, clothes cannot be gifted or traded to other players unless the pair doing the gifting/trading have completed the multiplayer friendship level 13 tasks together.
Certain special clothes, like Character Hats, character holiday sweaters, and the Golden Crown cannot be gifted/traded.
It is NOT RECOMMENDED to trade Legendary Event Clothing. These items can only be obtained ONCE per save file, another can't be obtained if it is given away.

- Five pieces of Clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand are required for Mocha, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Pam, who is an Island Visitor.
- Five pieces of Clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand are required for Tam, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Chico, who is an Island Visitor.
- Two Face Accessory Clothes displayed on a Clothing Stand are required for Marin, who is an Island Visitor. [2]
- One piece of Lighttime Jubilee clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Poron, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Hugs & Hearts clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Poron, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Colorblaze clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Poron, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Month of Meh clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Poron, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Paper Parade clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Poron, who is an Island Visitor.
- One piece of Friendship Festival clothing displayed on a Clothing Stand is required for Poron, who is an Island Visitor.
Notes
- ↑ This filter doesn't appear to do anything
- ↑ Items must have Tag. Face Accessory items without the Tag, like the Cucumber Slices, are not counted.
