The 
Crafting Plans are instructions on how to craft a variety of in-game items. The player can use a 
Crafting Table to craft a variety of furniture and/or items if they have unlocked the Crafting Plans and have the correct materials to craft an item. Crafting Plans can be found inside of 
Treasure Chests, 
Gift Flowers, and be given to players by reaching certain friendship levels with 
Island Residents.

Crafting Plans cannot be gifted to other players via 
Multiplayer.
Crafting Plans are NOT the same as Instructions — Instructions are used to create items at the 
Creation Station.
Crafting Plans are NOT the same as 
Recipes — Recipes are used to cook a variety of in-game food items.

Yummy Dining Table crafting plans can be found by watering a Gift Flower in the 
High Desert.
Treasure Chests - Example: The 
Jack-O-Lantern crafting plans can be found within a Treasure Chest in 
Spooky Swamp.
Reaching certain friendship levels with Island Residents - Example: The 
Cottage Dresser crafting plans are unlocked when the player reaches friendship level 17 with 
My Sweet Piano.
