Puzzle Types
Below is detailed information about each of the puzzle types found in
Wheatflour Wonderland.
Forcefields
Forcefields are large barriers that are scattered around the region, preventing the player from accessing them. Forcefields are associated with the
Gemstones the player can collect around the region — and includes
Alexandrite Forcefield,
Amethyst Forcefield,
Citrine Forcefield,
Diamond Forcefield,
Emerald Forcefield,
Opal Forcefield,
Quartz Forcefield,
Ruby Forcefield,
Sapphire Forcefield,
Spinel Forcefield,
Tanzanite Forcefield, and
Topaz Forcefield.
To remove a forcefield, the player must use a
Magic Wand forged with the correlated/associated
Gemstones to remove it. For example, if there is a
Ruby Forcefield, the player must use a
Magic Wand forged using an
Ruby Gemstone to remove the forcefield.
Some Forcefields require multiple
Magic Wands to remove them. These forcefields have multiple layers that are be correlated/associated with different types of
Gemstones.
Some quests are not available until the player has unlocked an area surrounded by forcefield(s).
- A player using a
Magic Wand on a forcefield.

Lampposts
Lampposts are located on all tiers of the region.
Lamppost can appear in one of the following states:
- Working correctly - spinning, lit, and with a gemstone at the top.
- Unlit - does not need repair, but lacks a gemstone and remains unlit.
- Broken - requires repair before it can function.
Broken
Lampposts must be repaired using
Jemmies, with the cost depending on its location and importance; the repair cost ranges from 1x
Jemmies to 35x
Jemmies each.
Once players have repaired all 42 broken
Lampposts and speak to
Basmati the Grand Flowl, they will be rewarded 2x
Diamond Gemstones and 2x
Opal Gemstones.
Some
Lampposts are unlit but do not require repair. These must be reactivated using the correct
Magic Wand to zap the
Lamppost with the corresponding
Gemstone type. If the correct gemstone is used, it will light up and begin spinning.
Determining which gemstones light up which
Lampposts is not required to receive
Basmati’s rewards. However, players should still attempt to light all
Lampposts since each set of solved
Lampposts rewards 1x
Wheatheart.
Some
Lampposts are purely decorative and are not associated with any puzzle. The player can light these
Lampposts with any type of
Gemstone
Magic Wand, if they choose; however, there is no additional benefit or reward to doing so.
- For example, these decorative
Lampposts can be found near the front staircase of the
Citadel, or in certain areas of the
Sky and Seek area (near the castle). - Decorative
Lampposts are not included in the Puzzle Guide below — if the
Lampposts are not listed there, then they're just for decoration!

Puzzle Arches
Puzzle Arches are located all throughout the region. There are various types, some of which require the player to have progressed through certain key points in the
Wheatflour Wonderland storyline.
At the top of a
Puzzle Arch, there will be a semi-transparent orb.
Puzzles Arches that require certain features to be unlocked will have a related icon within the semi-transparent orb. The first time a player walks through a successfully unlocked
Puzzle Arch, they will be rewarded a
Wheatheart.
Regular
Puzzles Arches will not require any unlocked features.
- The player can walk through the arch to collect a
Wheatheart.
Wand
Puzzles Arches require the
Magic Wand to be unlocked:
- The player will be unable to walk through the
Puzzle Arch until they used the
Magic Wand forged with the associated
Gemstones.
- The
Gemstones required for a
Puzzle Arch will be indicated by the barrier's color. - Once the barrier has been removed, the player can walk through the arch to collect a
Wheatheart.
- The
Transformation
Puzzles Arches require the
Critter Wand and/or the
Item Wand to be unlocked.
- If the player walks through the
Puzzle Arch before using the wand to transform, the arch will glow red and make an error noise.
- Before walking through the
Puzzle Arch, the player must use either the
Critter Wand or the
Item Wand to transform into the critter or object that is indicated by the related icon within the semi-transparent orb. - The player can walk through the arch to collect a
Wheatheart, once transformed.
- Before walking through the
Puzzle Arch Icon- A regular

Puzzle Arch locations.

Grand Flowl Statues
Grand Flowl Statues are bird-shaped statues used in solving
Forcefields and
Lamppost quests.
- Some
Forcefields can be broken without the use of a
Magic Wand. Instead, the player can use nearby Grand Flowl Statues holding
Gemstones to break a forcefield.
- The player can activate Grand Flowl Statues by walking up to the statue and pressing the
Interaction Icon. - At times, Grand Flowl Statues need to be rotated to face the target, this can be done by pressing the
Interaction Icon.
- The player can activate Grand Flowl Statues by walking up to the statue and pressing the
- Some Grand Flowl Statues are already holding
Gemstones. These are bubbled and cannot be removed by the player. - Other Grand Flowl Statues are holding empty gems, which do not shoot magical beams, but can absorb and redirect a beam shot from another Grand Flowl Statue holding a
Gemstone.
- Empty-handed Grand Flowl Statues require the player to place a
Gemstone to use it.
- The player can place a gemstone into a Grand Flowl Statue by walking up to it and pressing the
Interaction Icon. - The player can remove the
Gemstones at any time.

Critter Launchpads
There are a total of 16 Critter Launchpads located around the region.
Critter Launchpads require the
Critter Wand to be unlocked. If the player walks over a Critter Launchpad before using the wand to transform, the launchpad will not activate. The player must use the
Critter Wand to transform into the critter that is indicated by the related stained glass motif within the launchpad before stepping on.
To unlock the entire region, the player must rightfully craft a
Critter Wand using all of the
Wheatflour Wonderland-related critters, which include:
Fluffny,
Flockadoodler,
Flirb,
Flourflap,
Flouster,
Flowl,
Flubby,
Flider,
Flovern, and
Floopy Ballooper.
Additional Tips
Important Note
These Critter Launchpad "shortcuts" can be fixed/patched at anytime by
Sunblink game developers and thus readers should proceed with caution that these tips may NOT work in a future update.
Players are NOT required to utilize these shortcuts and instead, can easily progress through
Wheatflour Wonderland without them.
Some players have found unintentional shortcuts to bypass several Critter Launchpads without using their respective
Critter Wands, in order to reach
Sun Peak as fast as possible.
These shortcuts are intended for the earlier possible catching of
Floopy Balloopers during the random onset of
Starfall, and as a result being able to collect valuable
Diamond Gemstones and
Opal Gemstones found on
Sun Peak and the platform above the un-bypassable Critter Launchpad at
Sun Peak that requires a
Critter Wand for a
Floopy Ballooper.

There are a total of 13 empty Critter Statue podiums located around the region; 10 are located at the
Critter Temple, while 3 are in the
Royal Gardens.
