The Frostfeather is a type of flower and is the wildflower in Icy Peak. Completing the "Extremophile Flora" quest while
Nina is a moved-in resident unlocks the regions's flower plots.
Wild Seeds planted in Icy Peak plots become a Frostfeather. The Frostfeather can only be planted in the
Icy Peak and cannot be planted in the
Greenhouse.
Its default color is █ ice. Other colors can be obtained through crossbreeding. When fertilized, it can gain a frost effect.

The following are examples of crafted Frostfeather items.
Colors
Like other flowers, it is possible for Frostfeatheres to gain all flower colors through breeding. Refer to the "Crossbreeding" guide on the Flowers page for full details.
For colors that require color transfer only, the player should crossbreed any color of Frostfeather with a patterned flower from another type. The flower should have the desired color as its primary color, not its pattern color. For example, a red & white ombre dandelily can possibly transfer its red color when crossbred with Frostfeathers.
Patterns
The following are what ice (the default color) and white look like with the default pattern, frost. The default pattern has a 1% chance of appearing with each application of Fertilizer to a non-patterned flower.
The following are examples of what the Frostfeather looks like with a transferred pattern.
Spoilers are on this page.
Players may want to avoid or be cautious toward reading this article/section.
How to Transfer a Non-Icy Peak Flower Pattern
The following patterns can be transferred to the Frostfeather are the following:
Ombre Pattern,
Speckled Pattern,
Iridescent Pattern, and
Glow Pattern. The
Molten Pattern, while a likely possibility due to being an effect, cannot be transferred from the
Blazebulb to compatible flowers at this time. There may be other transferable patterns not yet confirmed.
The only flowers that are compatible to be grown in Icy Peak are the following:
Frostfeather,
Eggwort,
Bowblossom,
Glowbal.
