Hidarin is friends with 
Retsuko, a member of the "OTMGirls", and an 
Island Visitor. To unlock her as a possible visitor in the Visitor Menu (via the 
Menu Tablet), the player must have a 
5 star-rating with 
Puko, in addition to having her as a permanent island resident.
She will visit the player anytime in the Spring (March 1 to May 31) and Fall (September 1 to November 30), if her 
Visitor Cabin requirements are met. Until she reaches a 5-star friendship level on the player's island, she will assign 
Daily Quests, one per visit to the island. Her daily gift is 1x Fabric.

Visitor Cabin Requirements
For Hidarin to move into a Visitor Cabin, it must meet the following requirements:
- Must be in
Mount Hothead to be near Retsuko. - Must have
Manaka as a resident. - Must have five pieces of
Music furniture. - Must have one piece of
Pillow furniture. - Must have one piece of
Mirror furniture. - Must have two pieces of
Chair furniture. - Must have one piece of
Table furniture. - Must have a
Clothing Stand. - Must have a
Launch Elegant Dress. - Must have a
Dye Station. [2]
To boost the chance of Hidarin visiting, add items with the liked tag: 
Pink. Each liked item gives 1x 
heart, and up to 5x liked items can be included to earn a maximum of 5x hearts. Maximum hearts greatly increase the chance of a visit but do not guarantee it.

- ↑ It is not actually necessary to change clothes at the mirror. Pressing the Confirm button immediately after entering the mirror menu will complete the quest.
