Event in 
Seaside Resort that runs annually from mid January to late February. It is normally preceded by Frosty Fashion Frenzy and runs concurrently with Hugs & Hearts.
Luck & Lanterns Celebration was the ninth event to occur in-game.

The main purpose of this event is to celebrate the Year of the Snake! A new year is here, and the Luck & Lanterns Celebration returns to bring the Year of the Snake to life! Find Firecrackers and set them off to celebrate and collect lucky envelopes! Then, exchange them for elegant Lunar New Year-inspired decor and fashion. According to the 
Collection Goals for the event, there are _insert_ types of items you can collect for this event.

Lucky Envelopes are the main form of currency for the Luck & Lanterns Celebration event. They can be used to purchase limited-time goods from the 
Luck & Lanterns Event Stand in the Resort Plaza, as well as for purchasing legacy event items in 
Tuxedosam's Shop and 
Small Gift Big Smile.
They player can obtain Lucky Envelopes in the following ways:
- 5x Lucky Envelopes by activating a Firecracker, found around the Seaside Resort.
- 1x Lucky Envelope per
Daily Quest completed.
Firecrackers
The player can find Firecrackers around the Seaside Resort. Each Firecracker gives the player 5x Lucky Envelopes.
The player should find 1x Firecracker per day of play. An extra 1 will spawn per day for up to 2 missed days of play, for a maximum total of 3 in one day.

Event Stand
The Event Stand acts as a shop for Luck & Lanterns Celebration's limited-time items. Lucky Envelopes can be traded for Luck & Lanterns Celebration clothing or Luck & Lanterns Celebration furniture sold here. At the stand, the player can purchase the current year's event items, along with previous event year 
furniture, 
clothing, and 
other items.

Cutscenes are scenes with scripted dialogue that are time-locked to only be viewable after certain dates. Cutscenes must trigger in order and occur at the daily reset, after the daily greeting from My Melody.
