Menu Tablet
The
Menu Tablet in the upper right corner of the screen allows the player to access a variety of menus and features within the game via "applications."
Weather
The Weather application is not a separate application but is instead displayed to the left side of the main screen. It indicates the current weather around Friendship Island. The icon for the Weather app changes to indicate the current season. Typically, all the regions on Friendship Island will be some variation of
sunny weather, but as the player progresses through the game, they can unlock other types of weather. Eventually, the player will be able to experience a variety of weather patterns!
Quests
The
Quests application allows the player to access their quests menu. The menu has tabs that list
- Active Quests: quests that have yet to be completed.
- Timed Quests:
Daily Quests and
Weekly Quests that are incomplete. - Completed Quests: all quests that have been completed; past daily and weekly quests are not listed.
Friends
The
Friends application allows the player to access information on all of the Island Residents. The main screen shows the player a list of the Friends, along with if each Friend has received the maximum
daily gifts and an approximation of their current level progression, if they are
Best Friends, or if they have given a
Spirit Heart [1].
Selecting an individual friend shows the above information in more detail, as well as their current level, how close their friendship with the player is, their liked stags, and their abilities. Pressing "more info" will show their birthday, if known, and a short bibliography.
Visitors
The
Visitors application allows the player to access information on potential
Island Visitors. The main page shows a list of visitors, along with their current status and a
gold heart if the visitor has a
5-Star Rating.
The
"not" icon indicates that an island visitor is not currently traveling and therefore will not visit the player's island. The
"airplane" icon indicates that the island visitor will be traveling soon. The
"timer" icon indicates an island visitor is traveling, which gives the player a chance at the visitor visiting (if the island visitor's cabin requirements have been met), with at least 1 guaranteed visit. The
"location" icon indicates the visitor is currently on the player's island, and therefore the player can interact with the visitor and complete their quest if they offer one. The
"home" icon indicates the visitor is currently a permanent resident on the player's island, and the player can interact with the visitor.
Selecting a visitor shows an information page with their current
Star Rating, where they are staying if they are on the island, their birthday (if known), a short bibliography, a list of satisfactory cabins (if any), and what their requirements are for a satisfactory cabin. Below their photo is their liked tag. Adding items with that tag to their cabin can give a visitor up to 5
hearts, which makes them much more likely to visit a cabin. A visitor's number of hearts can be viewed by selecting the suitcase-shaped icon on the bottom left of the screen while decorating a cabin or by approaching the door of the cabin.
Daily Rewards
The
Daily Rewards application allows the player to access their Daily Rewards menu for the current
Events.
Achievements
The
Achievements application allows the player to access their Achievements menu.
Collections
The
Collections application allows the player to access their Collections menu.
Call Resident
The
Call Resident application allows the player to both invite Island Residents to join as a companion, as well as dismiss them. This function is equivelant to the player selecting the join-up dialogue option when speaking to an Island Resident. The ability to invite two companions at the same time is unlocked after completing the
"Together Forever" quest.
- A
Friend can be called as soon as they have a Companion Ability unlocked, which is dependant on the player reaching the required
friendship level.
- If the player has not unlocked the ability to have multiple companions join them at a time, the on-call Companion will leave upon calling another one.
- A
Visitor can be called as soon as they have a Companion Ability unlocked, which is dependant on the player having reached a
5-star rating with the Visitor, inviting them to be a permanent resident and completing their designated
"Friendship Quests" quest.
- When inviting a Visitor, the Island Resident who is friends with them will also join.
Multiplayer
The
Multiplayer application allows the player to access their multiplayer invite code or enter a code to join a friend's game. While playing together, it also allows the player to access the Friendship Levels (multiplayer friendship tasks list) menu.
Map

Map application allows the player to access a map of the entire island and access
Fast Travel locations. The Map also has different useful filters that the player can turn on and off as needed.
