Spooky Treat is a special item that is available during the Spooky Celebration. Spooky Treats are the main form of currency for the Spooky Celebration event and can be used to purchase limited-time goods from the Celebration Stand in the Resort Plaza. While playing "Trick or Treat" the play can either receive a 
Spooky Treat or Trick.

Details
A total of 9x Spooky Treats can be earned each day by playing "Trick-or-Treat" with Island Residents or Island Visitors.
In order to play Trick-or-Treat, the player must be wearing at least one clothing item that either is 
spooky or counts as a costume piece, and the time of day must be 
night. If both conditions are met, when the player talks to the Island Resident, they will be given the option to "Trick or Treat!"
Additionally, the player can earn 1x Spooky Treat for each 
Daily Quests the player completes. In total, the player can earn 13x Spooky Treats per day. If the player owns the 
Wheatflour Wonderland DLC, they will earn 14x Spooky Treats per day.
After the player has earned the 9x Spooky Treats that day, when playing Trick-or-Treat with an Island Resident, they will receive a Trick. If the player missed the previous 1 to 2 days of trick-or-treating, they can receive more treats from trick-or-treating to make up for not trick-or-treating on those days.
On 
Kuromi's Birthday (October 31st, Halloween), she'll gift the player extra Spooky Treats.

Notes
- During the 2025 event, players received 75x
Spooky Treat (Lolita) via a 
Sunblink Mail message that was sent out on October 23, 2025. However, this was the 2024 event variation, so it was the incorrect Spooky Treat. Thus, a later Sunblink Mail message sent out 75x Spooky Treat (the correct variation) on October 27, 2025.
