This page includes descriptions of messages sent to users via the "Sunblink Mail" feature!

The Sunblink Mail application is used by the developers to send out information about important updates or features. These messages can also include items and gifts. The availability of the mail is timed, so each message is only available for a certain amount of time (usually a few days to a few weeks).

The player can access the Sunblink Mail application via their  Menu Tablet.

It is not known how long Sunblink Mail will last, so make sure to check it if you see a notification on the  Menu Tablet.

Many players may be used to time manipulation or 'time travel' from other cozy games, but in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, it can permanently compromise your save file. Here's what to know: • You will lose access to multiplayer. • Time-based functionality (daily items spawning, flowers growing, and events progressing) will not work retroactively. • There is nothing we can do to restore a save file once it is in this state. Don't worry! Naturally switching time zones or even crossing the date line won't affect your save in any way. For more information, connect with us online. ~ The Sunblink Team

Hello everyone! Here's the highlights of our 2.1 update as well as some special treats! Decorating Is Better! If you decorate a cabin, you'll notice some major improvements, including the introduction of rugs, the ability to place items on top of things in edit mode, and the ability to place multiple items on top of surfaces like tables or dressers. We hope you enjoy! U*SA*HA*NA and Imagination Cafe Gain additional friendship levels with Usahana! Quest with Usahana and earn the ability to customize your cafe's appearance within the city. Order limits will no longer carry over each day. You can now purchase multiple ingredients at a time from the Cafe Computer. Gardening Updates REMINDER: If you hold down the button to water, pluck, trowel, or fertilize a flower, it will apply that action to everything in the flower patch! Spread the word! You can now hold down an item in the compost menu to add more and more of it. No more individual tapping! Welcome to 2.0! We're so excited to share a brand new island with you, even if it's only the tip of the iceberg! This update was our biggest one yet, and the team worked above and beyond to bring it to you. Because of its size and complexity, there are a few aspects that we wanted to call out and clarify. All of this information can also be found on our Discord (complete with pretty pictures!), which you can access through your in-game phone menu. !!!DAY ONE SPOILERS BELOW!!! We recommend reading this section AFTER you have made it to the new island and leveled up a bit with our new friend. Imagination Cafe • Make sure to use the Cafe Computer and select OPEN CAFE to get started with orders. Having trouble making mochi or dango? You need to manually tap the next slot in a recipe to pick an ingredient for it. Unclear which Mochi you're adding to a recipe? You can see its name once you add it to the recipe. Folks not showing up to your cafe? You may have satisfied them all! Only a certain number of orders can happen per day. Upcoming Changes We have a few other upcoming changes that you can expect to see in the next few updates: Coco and Nuts are becoming seasonal. Coco will travel in winter and summer, while Nuts will travel in spring and fall. To prevent trading/gifting abuse, folks who have manipulated their device time into the future will no longer be able to connect to others in multiplayer. THANK YOU! Hello everyone! Jam Jamboree is here, and we wanted to celebrate with a few extra gifts! First, have some Fertilizer and Wormtails as compensation for two bugs that went out with 1.9.5: needing to water underflower flowers, and flowers not growing at reset. Both of these will be fixed in 2.0. We hope you also enjoy the event-exclusive Petunia, which will spawn in empty spaces in the Merry Meadows for the duration of the Jam Jamboree. Second, we're including some extra Jam Jars for folks who might not have game tickets lying around. You can use your game tickets up to 5 times a day to get Jam Jars from any mini-game activity around the world - you don't even have to win! We look forward to releasing 2.0 next week on September 18th, featuring a brand new island and a new character joining our main cast! We just released the 1.8.2 Hotfix. The following should be working properly: •Inventory appears as normal • Trowel works on flower patches in Gemstone Town and Merry Meadows Unfortunately, we have not resolved the issues with the event stand sporadically missing items. Welcome to 1.8.1! Get ready for a New Avatar Species, New Weather, and the Sunshine Celebration! We hope you enjoy the 1.8.1 Update and wanted to highlight a few changes to the island. Oasis — Cherry Blossom trees have moved from the Oasis to the Merry Meadow! They’re happy and thriving there. Once revived, the rest of the trees around the Dessert Boat lake are more lush. Gemstone Town — We’ve improved the pathing in the original area, rearranged some building placements, and created specific zones for pickups (cactus garden for cactus cream, deadwood forest is a new source of sticks). Happy foraging! Appreciating Characters – and You! To celebrate this year’s official Sanrio character rankings, we’re giving out some of the most beloved gifts for top characters Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, and Kuromi. Thanks so much to everyone who’s given feedback about their experiences with weather in the game. In light of this feedback, we’re making several changes to how weather works. Coming in 1.7.5 (early/mid June): •Making the weather timer persist between sessions •Shortening the maximum time between weather events •Extending the duration of weather events •Removing the quests associated with catching weather critters •Adding Starfall Chests to Cloud Island during Starfall •Fixing inaccessible Starfall Chest locations •Making it more clear that Starfall only occurs at night We hope these changes will create better experiences for folks, and will continue to monitor and iterate. We just released the 1.7.1 Hotfix. The following should be working properly: •Chococat's crafting bonus is active again •Super Siblings quest no longer affects game saving •Keroppi and Badtz-maru are no longer blocked by the Rainy Day Rambles •Breaking boulders out of order no longer blocks the Cafe Cinnamon Unite quest •The red dot for giftable character is back on the map •Fixed pattern flower duplication glitch •A few other small fixes The following issues are still under investigation: •Longer than an hour wait between weather events •Performance issues during weather events •Unexpectedly speedy flower growth in Mt Hothead •Seeds not being watered by Sprinkler Hat PS: Have some bonus yolks for Nisetama-san being a little-too-hidden for some folks today :) (8x Yolk) -- 05/20/2024
