    • The Treasure Hunt allows the player to find a hidden Treasure Chest Icon.png Treaure Chest once per day. The Treasure Hunt is unlocked during the "Chasing the Horizon" quest. The signboard showing the daily treasure and the Nuls Ship's Nul that can be paid for a hint are located along the Spooky Swamp Spooky Swamp Coast, but the treasure can be found without interacting with either with luck or the use of the Crystal Sensor Crystal Sensor.

    How to Play

    Basic Summary

    • Each day, a new treasure will be displayed on the Billboard.
    • The player can use their Crystal Sensor Crystal Sensor to locate the buried treasure.
      • When equipped, the Crystal Sensor Crystal Sensor will glow based on how close the player is to the buried treasure.
      • The location of the buried treasure is randomized — meaning it will not be in the same daily location as other player's.
    • If paid with Sand Dollar Sand Dollars, the Nuls Ship's Nul (to the right of the sign) can help by providing an indicator of the treasure's general location.
      • A large, semi-transparent orange circle will appear on the Map Map marking the area where the buried treasure is located.
      • The specific location still needs to be found with the Crystal Sensor Crystal Sensor.
      • The cost to reveal the hinted location will differ based on how "rare" an item is.
    • Once in the correct location, the magnifying glass interaction button will appear on the screen. The player must then use the magnifying glass interaction button to reveal the treasure and open the chest.
    • The player can only find one treasure per day.

    Daily Treasure

    The day's treasure will be displayed on the billboard near the Nuls Ship's Nul. It can be found on the beach path to the left of the Spooky Swamp Spooky Swamp. The player can only find one treasure per day.

    The player can receive a rare reward (Kuromi (Furniture) Kuromi Furniture at first, followed by My Melody (Furniture) My Melody Furniture) every 3 days until all available rare finds have been obtained. After obtaining all the furniture, Kuromi's Pirate Outfit and My Melody's Pirate Outfit are unlocked. One item can per obtained per day for four days in a row. [1]

    The treasure will change at the daily reset if either of the following are true:

    • The player found the daily treasure on the previous day.
    • The player has not obtained all Kuromi or My Melody item and it has been 3 days since the last once was found.

    The Nuls Ship's Nul can help the player locate the buried treasure, if spoken to. The player can reveal a hint by paying regional currency to the Nuls Ship's Nul. The cost to reveal the hinted location will differ based on how "rare" an item is.

    Buried Treasure Locations

    The daily location of the buried treasure is randomized — meaning it will not be in the same daily location as other player's. If the player purchases a hint from Nuls Ship's Nul, a semi-transparent orange circle will appear on the Map Map in the general region where the buried treasure is located.

    Known Bug

    If the hint circle does not appear after paying the nul, search the northeast side of the Spooky Swamp Spooky Swamp.

    Locating the Treasure

    The player can use their Crystal Sensor Crystal Sensor to locate the buried treasure. When equipped, the Crystal Sensor Crystal Sensor will shake and beep based on how close the player is to the buried treasure.

    Once in the correct location, the magnifying glass interaction button will appear on the screen. The player must then use the magnifying glass interaction button to reveal the treasure and open the chest.

    The signboard near the Nuls Ship's Nul shows the daily treasure.

    The player can find a rare Kuromi Kuromi or My Melody My Melody furniture item every 3 days until all of them have been obtained. These items are obtained in a specific order. If a piece is registered as obtained through Multiplayer Multiplayer, it will be skipped for the next Kuromi or My Melody item that has not been obtained.

    The My Melody Pirate Outfit set and Kuromi Pirate Outfit set will appear in 1 day intervals.

    The My Melody Pirate Outfit set, Kuromi Pirate Outfit set, My Melody (Furniture) My Melody Furniture, and Kuromi (Furniture) Kuromi Furniture items can only be obtained once and are not reoccurring prizes.
