Hello Kitty Island Adventure was released on July 28, 2023, on Apple Arcade.

Most updates come out on  Apple Arcade first. Major content updates are usually released every 6 weeks. Other platforms, such as  Nintendo Switch and  PC Steam, experience different update speeds and current content availability. However, Sunblink is "contractually required to keep the experience the same across platforms," according to a statement from the dev team.

2.4.0 - Snow and Sound (February 26, 2025)

Springtime Celebration:

Spring is in the air! Starting March 2nd, the Sakura bloom and everyone gets to enjoy beautiful blossoms. To celebrate the season, gather up the Petals around the Resort and exchange them for elegant new outfits and decor. Also, be sure to check out Tuxedosam's Shop and My Melody's Gift Shop for rare springtime clothing and furniture finds!

Snow Village:

Rumor has it there have been sightings of houses way up in the snow on the peaks above; can you find them and restore their cozy cabin vibes? Repair the Snow Village and discover new fish, critters, furniture, and ... very chilly-looking gudetama on the far side of Icy Peak.

Chilly Chambers:

Slide your way to success in new, frigidly-themed puzzles around Icy Peak. You might have to get a bit pushy to claim the rewards inside.

New City Town Shop:

Business opportunities abound in City Town! Someone's excited to get in the groove and open their own storefront. Musical opportunities abound if you can help them get it just right.

New Fiery Flower: Wish me mell and Nina are trying to grow a new flower! If you're tired of ice and snow, hike up to the top of the Caldera with them!

Usahana and Friends:

Things are busy in City Town! Quest with Usahana and her Visitors to add even more light and color to vibrant City Town. Unlock the neon Grand Opening customizations for Imagination Cafe. And level up your friendship with Usahana for Best Friend rewards and quests!

Flowery Furnishings:

Play the Crane Game to collect the fabulous floral Merry Meadows furniture set-and bring the Merry Meadows to all of your cabins!

Birthday Celebrations:

Celebrate birthdays for Cinnamoroll, Hangyodon, Badtz-maru and Pompompurin with adorable specialty cakes!

Fine Fellows and Familiar Faces:

More of Keroppi's friends are on their way to Friendship Island! Decorate cabins for Ganta, Kyorosuke, and Noberun to meet them. Last, but most definitely not least, Washimi is ready to visit Retsuko too!

Gifting

Quests

• Fixed an issue where players would experience a prolonged black screen after talking to Pikki during "Sibling Rivalry"

• The Hither & Yon quest sometimes displaying wrong instructions in the quest log should be corrected now for all players

Audio

• Choppy audio should no longer occur on Apple TV devices

• Fixed an error where TOPHAT's ability may make the Red Hot Rampage counter go into the negatives
• Freezing should no longer occur when trading the Steam Stone with other players
• Players who could not craft Little Twin Star balloons after receiving plans should be able to see these plans at their crafting benches

2.4.5 Hotfix - (March 12, 2025)

App Store: Happy Haven Days: The happiest day of the year returns! Starting March 17th, celebrate International Day of Happiness with Hello Kitty and Friends. During this week-long event, help Hello Kitty spread joy with a surprise recipe— and receive plenty of surprise gifts! New Flower - Happidil: Add a splash of sunshine to your garden! These bright and cheerful new flowers can only bloom during Happy Haven Days - so get ready, get set, grow! Colorblaze Carnival: Lace up your running shoes - The Colorblaze Carnival starts on March 25th! Spring is here and Pochacco is all fired up to get outside and celebrate with the Colorblaze Challenges. Complete these vibrant Challenge Courses to get striking furniture and outfits, just don't forget to catch your breath! Discord: Hello Apple Arcade players! 2.4.5 launches tomorrow on Wednesday, March 12th! Here are some issues you will see fixed this update! Companions Players who completed the Sweatband Buddies quest and received Pochacco's related outfit can change him in and out of this outfit as intended. Clothing and furniture The Meadow Sofa can now be placed inside cabins. Players can equip rose flower crowns. Icy Peak Fireplace now has the correct costs. Imagination Cafe Umbrellas for the Imagination Cafe have been changed from black to their intended red color. Previously, Grand Opening furniture would not be in the Cafe Computer until the next daily reset. Now, players should receive the Grand Opening furniture in their Cafe Computer after the cutscene that unlocks it. Misc Flower sort order has been restored to correct order. If players use the option to "remove all items" from their cabin, flower crowns will retain their color. A bench blocking Apartment C in Mount Hothead cabins has been moved.

2.3.0 - Peak Winter (January 22, 2025)

New Area - Blizzard Peak:

A new story takes you and your friends back to Icy Peak, discovering a whole new side of the mountain along with a temperamental weather contraption.

Snowfall:

Why won’t that Icy Peak storm settle down?? Harness the weather to bring snow and Snow Nuls to Friendship Island and discover a new critter and fish. Also, collect all-new ski chalet-themed furniture, decorations, and clothing. Let it snow!

Hugs & Hearts:

The Hugs & Hearts festival returns in February, and those adorable little Lovebugs are back! These precious critters are only around for a short time before they transform into Heartwings. Catch as many as you can for lovely new fashions and furniture.

New Creation Station - Piano Plush Pals:

Purchase and customize your own Plush Pals! My Sweet Piano’s new shop in City Town can create so many shapes, colors, and even sizes!

Remote Companioning:

Phone a friend (to join you!) – your tablet now has a ‘Call Friend’ function that lets you connect and companion together with Hello Kitty and Friends from anywhere on the Island. They can’t wait to hear from you!

New Flower & Effect – Frostfeather & Frost:

Help Nina grow the Frostfeather, a hardy yet beautiful new bloom for your collection. This brilliant blossom can only be grown in Icy Peak; the cold doesn’t bother it anyway.

New Recipe – Snow Ice:

Here’s the tastiest way to put all this fresh snow to good use – Transform Snowcicles into Snow at the Chef Station, then use them to create SNOW ICE in all kinds of flavors. Genius!

New Visitors:

Another of Retsuko’s friends is joining her on Friendship Island! Gori is on her way to enjoy a well-deserved vacation.

Meanwhile, Pekkle’s family is also coming to stay. His girlfriend, Ruby, is sure to love dancing in the Dance Hall and his sometimes rival, sometimes friend Carl will be happy to climb and explore the heights of Gemstone Mountain.

2.3.1 Hotfix - (January 27, 2025)	Hello friends! Our 2.3.1 hotfix launched today! These are some issues that are fixed for 2.3.1: The issue that some players faced with giving My Sweet Piano items during the "Rainbow's End" quest has been resolved. Players should be able to give her the items she needs and proceed through the quest without any issue. Players were unable to give a Lucky Star to the Wishing Star in the "Wishing Stars" questline because there was no "!" pop-up should be able to continue as normal. Any players stuck in a loop in "Super Secret Surprise" should be able to end the quest by completing the cutscene where you receive TOPHAT party favors. If you were stuck in the first sewer puzzle due to a multiplayer bug and were unable to press the button to complete it in 2.3, this hotfix makes this puzzle's button always interactable. Anyone who was stuck previously just needs to press the puzzle button again to mark that puzzle as complete. In very rare cases, some players were attempting to complete "Mountain Hopes" but could not climb the mountain due to the stamina drain of the blizzard. Players doing "Mountain Hopes" should no longer have this issue when climbing. The filter button has returned for furniture and is working as intended.
2.3.2 Hotfix - (February 4, 2025)	Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.3.2 hotfix is now available! Please make sure to download it from the Apple Arcade store. Here are some of the issues fixed in this hotfix: Visitors We fixed an issue where Nyako wasn't visiting under most circumstances. She should now show up normally! To make up for Nyako not visiting, she will have a weekly visit schedule until the 2.4 release. Players who missed her can use this opportunity to catch up on missed star ratings. Quests Players can now catch any fish in Mount Hothead to count for the "Fish Tales" quest In some cases, players could not turn on the Arcticfier for the Mountain Hopes quest. Players that are stuck will be able to continue as intended. Misc Any achievement that requires obtaining unique items, such as fish, critters, or comics, will be restored to their previous value. For example, if you were working on a fishing achievement that went from 7/10 to 0/10, and you caught 2 fish in 2.3.1, your fishing achievement will now display as 9/10.

2.2.5 - Luck & Lanterns Celebration (January 8, 2025)

Luck & Lanterns Celebration:

Starting January 19th - A new year is here, and the Luck & Lanterns Celebration returns to bring the Year of the Snake to life! Find Firecrackers and set them off to celebrate and collect lucky envelopes! Then, exchange them for elegant Lunar New Year-inspired decor and fashion.

New Quests:

Happy birthday, My Melody! Assist everyone’s most helpful friend in celebrating her special day with all her creative (and crafty!) friends.

2.2.0 - Sewer Shakedown (December 11, 2024)

New Area - City Town Sewers:

What mysteries could be lurking under City Town? When everyone goes to explore, they find a magical maze of glittering tunnels harboring new critters, new fish, and teeming with puzzles to solve. Also, how did all these gudetama get down here?

Lighttime Jubilee:

On December 19, get ready for bright lights and fireworks, because this year the grid is ready to go! Chococat’s excited for the Lighttime Jubilee. It shouldn’t be any trouble at all… but when he flips the switch, nothing happens. Collect missing lightbulbs to brighten the Island and turn them in for flashy rewards.

New Flower - Glowbal:

Exclusive to the Lighttime Jubilee! Add some flashy pizzazz to your flower patch with this limited-time bloom.

Imagination Cafe - Onigiri:

Level up your chef skills – use the Seaweed growing underneath City Town to whip up new tasty treats in the Imagination Cafe.

Birthday Quests:

Kiki isn’t sure what to get for Lala for their birthday! He’s not always on top of these things. Help him get advice from friends to get ideas for the perfect gift.

New Visitors:

Keroppi’s sister and brother, Koroppi and Pikki, are on their way to Friendship Island. Hang out with the triplets and discover that sometimes a hands-off approach is better than hovering.

Meanwhile, Fenneko is determined to figure out what’s going on with Friendship Island… after Haida has safely arrived.

Bug Fixes

Quests -Corune was sometimes unable to be found during "Time of Milk" because he would not go to the quest location. Players should be able to find him in his correct spot at Merry Meadows for this quest.

-In addition to this, some players were unable to interact with Cinnamoroll at Seaside Resort for "Time for Milk." He can be interacted with now without any issues.

-Quests that involved two players taking a selfie were not registering as complete. You should now be able to take pictures and complete these multiplayer quests.

-Some customizations were not registering for users with "Renovation Imagination." This is fixed.

-Cinnamoroll would sometimes not appear during "Rainbow or Bust" in City Town. He's now back and ready to continue the quest!

-In rare cases, Wish me mell might appear out of bounds for "Beach Blossoms" and "Fen Flora." She should be right on land where she needs to be for these quests.

-During Call to Adventure part 4, Kiki and Lala would say they were leaving, but they would not teleport away. They now leave on their own accord.

Events -Players who received Usahana's gift when asking for Wish me mell's gift should have their gifts switched.

-Any other issues with gifting characters their presents for Give & Gather should also be fixed.

-Pompompurin now has his hat for his sweater.

-My Sweet Piano is now able to wear her sweater.

-Some players had issues equipping Scholastic Celebration and Spooky Celebration outfits to their friends despite experiencing cutscenes. A migration has been written to fix this.

Quality of Life -If players have not found Rainbow Beams yet, any items that use them for crafting will be hidden.

-Character boxes can now be placed in cabins.

-Players can now place Cinnamoroll Cocoa in cabins.

-50th anniversary mochi now satisfies Panya's requirements.

-Lolita is now categorized as Spooky.

-Issues with selecting flowers for Composter have been fixed.

-Players using controller had issues opening and using the daily calendar. There should no longer be issues on the daily calendar with controller.

-For underwater plots, anything planted should have a doubled growth rate, since players can't use their watering can. That way they grow at the same rate as someone who is routinely keeping up with their gardening.

-Players are able to craft more than one beeswax again.

-Some chests, such as the chest in the Reef Maze, are now breakable. Similar goes for other Rainbow Reef Chests and in Mount Hothead caves.

Misc -The white parts of some Hello Kitty furniture appeared red, especially on low-end devices. It should look white now!

-A chest has appeared at the 2nd tier plaza of Merry Meadows heading towards the Seed Dispenser/Composter that has orange candle crafting plans.

-A chest has appeared on the 5th tier of Merry Meadows near the ponds that has black candle crafting plans.

-Color on metal of kitchen sink has been corrected.

-Some HK50th food was sinking into tables. They should sit on the tabletop normally!

2.2.1 Hotfix - (December 17, 2024)

The following should now be working properly: The quest "Meet the Island Beings" is required for most events. Some players who had finished "Power the Gate" but not "Meet the Island Beings" would have their presents for Give and Gather opened early. If this happened to a player, once they complete "Meet the Island Beings:", their event will return to how it was before, except they opened character gifts early. Any general gifts that are unopened are also kept. Sewers crashes are fixed for devices that were experiencing issues, and any sewers-related issues we could find with collision and completing quests.

2.1.5 - 2024 Give & Gather Celebration (November 20, 2024)

Quests

- Cinnamoroll could not be interacted with because of an issue where Mocha had 6 stars. In 2.1, we fixed this so users could not *get* Mocha to 6 stars. For those who already had her ad 6 stars, this should be removed, making Mocha a permanent visitor at 5 stars. Cinnamoroll will be free to interact with again, allowing players to continue certain quests.

- For some players, Hello Kitty would run back to the cafe instead of staying at the beach for a photo for the Family Vacation quest. She should stay at the beach now.

- Some players experienced a bug where My Melody would have an exclamation point above her head when she had no quests to give the player. This exclamation point should now be gone.

- During "An Apple A Day", Hello Kitty would sometimes get stuck in the floor in front of the Pizza Oven. She should now walk on land just fine, allowing players to continue the quest.

- In rare cases, a player's game would freeze when talking to Kuromi during Day Dreamy Drama. This should no longer be the case.

- Players who are trying to take pictures for Secret Haunts should be able to do so without returning color to the island through the quest "Friendship Never Fades".

- A very small number of players experienced an error during the cutscene in Lucky Stars that would not give them the crafting plans to create a lucky star. Users who are stuck on this part of the quest should have the plans now.

Events

- For players that started the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary event but did not finish collecting the cards, the cards are now "evergreen" and will stay on your island until you finish collecting all cards.

- The Gold Bow from the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary event is now available. layers that already found all the cards during the event should get an extra cutscene with Cinnamoroll where he gives the gold bow. Players that did not find all the cards during the event, but do so afterwards should get all rewards including the gold bow in the same cutscene.

Quality of Life

- Tapping on items to scroll in the multi-item pickers, such as the composter, no longer selects them.

- A chest in Mount Hothead was unobtainable because the chest was in a shallow pool where players could not dive. This chest has been moved to land.

- Some players were noticing a delay in tapping dialogue options. There should be a short delay for interacting with dialogue options that turns on only for keyboard and controller. For mouse and touch, there is no delay at all.

Misc

- For some players, they would not get customers to the Imagination Cafe for several days. This usually occured because the game would attempt to select a visitor who was not a permanent resident. There should no longer be issues with a lack of customers.

- There was an issue where teal and mint flowers were out of order in player inventories. This has been fixed.

- Azuki's daily gift was changed to beeswax in 2.1. For 2.1.5, it has been returned to her original gift of chocolate chai.

- Players can put Sakura in their cabins.

- A few spelling and grammatical errors have been fixed for the English (UK) version of the game.

- Newer players found themselves earning achievements for flowers when they picked up different ingredients. These achievements can now only be earned by collecting the correct color of flower.

- The Jam Jamboree collection has a hat that is "locked" for users. This is a hat that we did not give out to players, and it will be removed from the achievements.

- IC wallpaper has returned to its original blue color.

- Spooky Celebration Event Stand is no longer magenta.

2.1.0 - Autumn Imagination (October 30, 2024)

Imagination Cafe Customization:

Ready for an upgrade? The Imagination Cafe is your shop—it should look how you want it to! Customize the Cafe’s exterior, including the storefront and the outside patio.

Days of Plenty:

On November 17, everyone comes together to celebrate the Days of Plenty. A magical autumnal wind blows through the Seaside Resort, carrying a delicious scent. What could it be… and could a missing Pompompurin have anything to do with it? Treats and rewards are in store!

New Flower - Dreampuff:

We’re on cloud nine after discovering this new flower type! Grow the Dreampuff in your gardens for a soft, fluffy touch that everyone will be over the moon about.

New Vista - City Town Rooftops:

Parkour up past the clouds to discover an all-new Photo Op – invite a couple of friends to snap a skyscraper selfie!

Birthdays and Besties:

New quests abound! Discover a new, fantastic way to appreciate critters with Keroppi and let your inner hero (... or sidekick?) shine with Badtz-maru. Don’t forget to join Kuromi and Hello Kitty for their birthday celebrations, along with a few other special friends.

New Visitors:

It’s time for a friendship reunion! Fenneko is planning a vacation where she can really get away from the grind – just don’t tell the boss where she’s going! Plus, Sora and Wanwa can’t wait to explore City Town.

Item Placement Improvements:

Next time you’re sprucing up a Cabin, try placing an item on a table while in Edit Mode. No, seriously, this is our new favorite thing.

Island Champions:

TOPHAT and Big Challenges are at it again! You’re invited to compete to become the Island Champion! Join your friends, complete the quests, and see who wins this friendly competition!

Retsuko in the Spotlight:

Retsuko’s birthday is coming and her new friends know just how to celebrate: with music! Join them in planning the perfect karaoke party.

2.1.1 Hotfix - (November 6, 2024)

The following should now be working properly: Some players were running off-screen when interacting with Hello Kitty for certain quests. This is now resolved. Resolved an issue where players were blocked from Retsuko's Birthday Quest because of the quest The Band Is Back. For players that are having issues with doing Hello Kitty's birthday quest due to Cinnamoroll being blocked, the quest's duration has been extended. During The Band is Back Part 3, characters such as Pekkle and Hangyodon were missing from the map or out of the frame to take a picture on the stage. This has been fixed. Players should no longer have to "recompanion" their friends to use their abilities. Usahana's character box should not be available yet. It is no longer obtainable, but it will return in a future update. Previously, ombre patterns were not appearing on Dreampuffs. You should be able to see these colors on your flowers now! Some furniture stacking issues have been solved, such as displaying food in display cases, stacking items on the Jamboree Event Stand, putting critters on the Hugs and Hearts Event Stand, and items on the Imagination Book Pedestal. Players should now be able to buy multiples of certain Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary furniture. The Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Bed has been moved from the music tab to the furniture tab.

Update 2.0.5 - Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary (October 16, 2024)

It’s time for the biggest event of the year! Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary is here, and she can’t wait for you to join her for this show-stopping celebration.

Join Hello Kitty and Friends for a mega-bash highlighting the sweet past and shining future of everybody’s favorite friend: Hello Kitty!

Celebrate with new outfits, foods, and furniture galore during this once-in-a-lifetime event. Plus, plan a secret surprise party with all her friends to give Hello Kitty the best supercute birthday ever!

- Pop iridescent Bubbles around the Plaza and Resort Shops to use throughout the event

- Collect the Commemorative Bow each day in the plaza for retro rewards

Update 2.0 - City Town (September 18, 2024)

A Brand New Island:

A mysterious boat appears! Where did it come from? And who is on board? Not to worry, Badtz-maru and your other friends are on the case – hop on board to be whisked away to the all-new region!

City Town:

Discover a new region teeming with towers, critters, and foods to discover! The rainbow-filled City Town is home to a remarkable new friend…

New Character – Usahana:

Usahana has been waiting for you! She’s excited to show everyone around City Town, make new friends, and help you renovate your very own Cafe. Befriend her and introduce her to all your friends on Friendship Island. Help make her feel welcome.

Imagination Cafe:

The Imagination Cafe lets you freely mix ingredients to create all sorts of unique food combos, such as mochi, dango, and tasty boba teas. This shop is all your own; as you run the Cafe, delight your friends with delicious treats!

Spooky Celebration:

This frightfully fun Celebration is back on Sept 27th! Kuromi and My Melody are very different but the best of friends. When they combine the things they love, they create a totally new fashion for the island that’s both Spooky AND Cute.

Fall Fashion Frenzy:

Starting October 3rd, Tuxedosam is again inspired by the glorious rainbow of fall colors! During this 10-day flash event, he’s created fan-favorite outfits to celebrate the season.

Birthday Quests:

Guess who has a birthday coming up? Celebrate Wish me mell with a unique quest for her special day!

New Visitors:

Some new guests will be visiting the Islands; look out for Hello Kitty’s Grandma and Grandpa, as well as Usahana’s friends Buppi and Panya!

- Jam Jamboree: It’s time for the Jam Jamboree! My Melody and Cinnamoroll team up to organize this festive fair that’s everywhere. Play mini-games around the Island to earn unique prizes, and celebrate this sweet season.

- Petunias: Exclusive to the Jam Jamboree! Keep your eyes out for this festive flower to appear in the Merry Meadows.

Update 1.9.0 - Everything's Better (With Milk) (August 7, 2024)

- Scholastic Celebration: It’s time to celebrate all things academic with the Scholastic Celebration, starting August 24th! Chococat is super excited for the beginning of the school year… Badtz-maru is not. Chococat sets out to find what will excite his friend, with many scholarly goodies along the way!

- New Avatars – Sheep: You can now choose a sheep as your avatar type for a new look! Don’t be baa-shful, try these adorable options with new styles, features, and patterns.

- Milk… shakes! Who doesn’t love a delicious chilly treat in the middle of summer? We’ve added brand new milkshake recipes just for you.

Friendship Festival: One of the year’s biggest events is here: the Friendship Festival! Join Hello Kitty and Friends for International Day of Friendship and the first anniversary of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Collect Friendship Charms daily by taking photos with different characters and exchange them at the Friendship Photo Booth for charming rewards.

- Return to the Heart: An epic quest calls for an epic celebration! Take your Best Friends to the Heart of the Island to unlock the most climactic moment yet.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s award-winning composer has teamed up with pop musician MYLK to create an original song celebrating everything Friendship. Unlock the original pop single and unprecedented in-game sequence in this new musical surprise!

- Multi-Companions: During this event, players can now unlock the new ability to companion with two friends at once! Bring even more characters along on your adventures for more bonuses and more fun.

- Sunshine Celebration: The Sunshine Celebration returns on July 10th, with a brand-new twist! My Melody ordered plenty of lemons for lemonade–far too many. Collect and trade them at the Lemonade Stand for refreshing citrus-themed rewards. If you missed last year’s Celebration, the classic Sunshine rewards are back for you to earn and keep!

- New Avatars – Horses: Have you herd? You can now choose a horse as your avatar type for a new look! Try these adorable options with new styles, features, and patterns.

- Ghostgleam Flower: Add even more elegance to your flower patches! The Ghostgleam Flower is an ethereal beauty that will look right at home in a new Spooky garden.

- Saunarator: What’s this wreck uncovered in Mount Hothead? The Saunarator produces a Steamy effect once it has been repaired. Look out for Scorching Sunfish, Hearthlings, and new Thermals when the steam rises!

- Music Players: Looking to add that perfect ambiance to your cabins? Now you can add Music Players to your rooms! Collect over 150 discs around the Island, and choose whichever you want to listen to. Sounds great to us!

- New Stories: Keep your eyes peeled for brand-new weekly stories! Deliver hot cocoa with Cinnamoroll, jog around the Island with Pochacco, and run a Pop Up Pizzeria with Badtz-maru!

- Birthday Quests: Guess who has a birthday coming up? Celebrate My Sweet Piano and Keroppi with unique quests for their special days!

- New Visitors: Some extraordinary guests will soon be vacationing on the Island; look out for Poron and Marin!

Oasis

Cherry Blossom trees have moved from the Oasis to the Merry Meadow! They’re happy and thriving there. Once revived, the rest of the trees around the Dessert Boat lake are more lush.

Gemstone Town

We’ve improved the pathing in the original area, rearranged some building placements, and created specific zones for pickups (cactus garden for cactus cream, deadwood forest is a new source of sticks). Happy foraging!

Update 1.7.5 - Paper Parade (June 12, 2024)

Our new event, Paper Parade, will begin June 13th. It’s time to get colorful! The Paper Parade is here, a holiday to celebrate individuality, self-expression, love, and being yourself. It’s one of Tuxedosam’s favorite holidays of the whole year… and in honor of that, he’s building a Paper Parade Float! Collect different Paper Crafts from Hello Kitty and Friends, learning what each character loves to create, and add them to the Paper Parade Float for artistic rewards. Working together, you’ll make the best-ever one-float-parade!

Apple Arcade is celebrating the great fun we can have gaming with friends and family. For a limited time until July 4th, jump into Hello Kitty Island Adventure with a friend to get new multiplayer emotes: Yoga Poses, Meh Shrug, and the Hula. (Please post your best hula snaps to ⁠screenshots !)

Accessibility Improvements

Flower Improvements: Working with Flowers just got a little easier!

• You can now stack flowers when compositing -- time for some bulk fertilizer!
• There's now a tab specifically for flowers when editing your cabin
• The UI should remember the last thing you planted, making it easier to plant repeats
• We flipped the gradients on patterned Eggwort and Marigolds to be consistent with the other flower types
• We fixed the trim pattern on Marigold flower crowns

Better Weather: We've included several improvements to weather in 1.7.5, with more to come:

• Weather timers will now persist across sessions, so if it says rain is coming later when you log off, it will still be coming later when you log back in
• We've also shortened the maximum time between weather events to 40 minutes
• We've removed Starfall Chests spawning in inaccessible locations
• We've added Starfall Chests to Cloud Island
• We've removed the quests to catch Weather-related Critters

Small Bug Fixes: We've fixed several soft locks and other bugs to improve player experience

Update 1.7 - Picture Perfect & Under The Sea (May 15, 2024)

Gather your friends – The Picture Perfect update has arrived in Hello Kitty Island Adventure! Starting on May 16th, each Island region now has a Photo Op, perfect for taking pictures – you can invite Hello Kitty and friends to these snapshot spots to get the best group photos around. Not only that, but you can also ask Hello Kitty and friends to change their outfits and get the perfect look.

Then on May 28th, Hello Kitty and Friends discuss what their mermaid names would be as the Under the Sea Celebration begins! Gather the mysterious Mermaid Scales for mesmerizing mermaid-themed rewards. But it seems like someone on the island might be creating these scales in secret – who could it be?

There’s so much more to explore––including the all-new Creation Station, a magical tree that summons shooting stars, and of course, a brand-new batch of quests and stories with Hello Kitty and friends.

• Picture Perfect upgrades: The Island Nuls have planned a surprise for you! Each Island region now has a Photo Op, perfect for taking pictures – you can invite Hello Kitty and friends to these snapshot spots to get the best group photos around. Mysterious Mermaid Scales have been popping up all over the Island - gather them to collect mesmerizing mermaid-themed outfits and furniture. • Starfall: What’s more beautiful than a sky full of stars? A sky full of shooting stars! Repair the Celestree on Cloud Island and summon magical Starfall showers to enjoy with your friends.
• Face & Back Accessories: You’ve been asking, and Tuxedosam has delivered again! Stop by his shop to pick up all-new clothing items like sunglasses, backpacks, and even fairy wings. The Island’s never looked so stylish.
• New Stories: Everyone’s been having a relaxing vacation… except for Retsuko! Help Hello Kitty make sure that Retsuko gets the break she deserves. • A mysterious foundation awaits beneath the waves; but what does it do? Carefully repair the Aquafaller to bring back rain, and watch Friendship Island spring to life in new ways!
• The Merry Meadow has even more to discover! Magic beanstalks guide the way to the Meadow’s upper glades, revealing new treasures and secret rooms. Here’s a tip: you’ll want to dust off those puzzle-solving skills!
• New visitors are here; Hello Kitty’s Mama and Papa have finally arrived for a sweet vacation with the family! Poco and Chico will also be visiting and can’t wait to stop by and say hello to you and Wish me mell.

1.6.5 Update - Month of Meh (Apr 29, 2024)	It’s all eggs everywhere! Month of Meh spotlights gudetama, the lazy egg that has taken Friendship Island by storm… kinda. During the Month of Meh, we celebrate the fact that all of us would prefer to stay in bed sometimes. Find yolks in over-sized eggs, as bonuses from Nisetama-san, or from gifting friends, and bring them to the Egg Shrine for egg-xcellent prizes. Or don’t, it’s really up to you. Who’s this mysterious, magnificent, dashing person dressed as an egg yolk? It’s Nisetama-san, of course! He’s here on the Island only during the Month of Meh! Take his picture each day - if you can find him - before he poofs away at the end of the month. Pompompurin and Pekkle have teamed up to create an all-new cooking station: the Egg Pan! Get the campfire going to bring new egg-based treats to all your friends, like Omelet, Crepes and Tarts. So egg-xciting! The TOPHAT gudetama have returned! As part of the egg-stravaganza this month, any TOPHAT gudetama you haven't found are back again, giving everyone a chance to catch up on rewards and achievements. Guess who has a birthday coming up? • Flowers - Start your very own flower garden! Collect and plant seeds to grow beautiful flowers around the Island. Depending on your methods, you’ll even have the chance to grow rare and special varieties – the only way to find them is to get your hands dirty!
• Springtime Celebration - The Springtime Celebration is arriving March 2nd, and the trees will be in full bloom! Collect petals all around the island and exchange them for beautiful Japanese-inspired decor and fashion, including your very own kimono.
