Apple Arcade first. Major content updates are usually released every 6 weeks. Other platforms, such as 
Nintendo Switch and 
PC Steam, experience different update speeds and current content availability. However, 
Sunblink is "contractually required to keep the experience the same across platforms," according to a statement from the dev team.

Hello Kitty Island Intro - Limited Release 
(October 28, 2025)
Today we released a small snippet of Hello Kitty Island Adventure for FREE in the App Store for United States, Korea, Mexico, and Australia. With Hello Kitty Island Intro, anyone can play through the beginning of the game, explore Seaside Resort, and get a chance to Open the Gate. This is the perfect opportunity for friends and family who might have been on the fence to get a feel for the game before they subscribe.

Plus, keep a lookout for all of Cinnamoroll's friends as they celebrate the season. Enjoy the white and gold outfits, and furniture ... and dress up as a present yourself!

đ¸ The 2.11 update is now available to Apple Arcade players. Here are some issues that have been fixed:
Quests
- There is a rare chance that players who have not logged in for a significant amount of time may still have the Give & Gather quest active. These players will see a celebration cutscene, and the quest will no longer be in the quest log.
- Fixed an issue where the screen may turn black if a player has both "Absence Makes the Heart" and "Critter Queen" active at the same time.
- Fixed an issue where players could not speak to Cinnamoroll for a step of the "Guardians of Wheatflour Wonderland" quest.
Items and Crafting
- Crafting an Item Wand with a customized Plush Pal will reward players with correct usable wand.
- Fixed an issue where players were able to craft more 50th Anniversary Dango than they had Mochi for, causing a softlock.
- Fishing Lures instructions will always be granted to the player after crafting the Lure, no matter what size is created.
- Mermaid Vest and Scuba gear should now appear in the Mermaidifier.
- Cinnamoroll Rug will no longer clip into flooring that has built-in carpet.
- Pochacco's Friendship Festival Pants are now the correct red color on all body types.
- Wands no longer disappear from tool wheel after multiplayer sessions.
- Friendship Festival tops are now displayed correctly when worn with Scholastic Skirts.
Misc
- Some tiles outside the Red Hot Ruins were marked as lava. These tiles should now function as walkable floor.
- Changing clothes while in critter form will no longer cause the player's character to freeze.
- In the event that a player blocks off access to their cabin by placing mini crafting stations in front of the door, the player can now edit the cabin directly from the entrance . All interaction buttons for crafting stations in cabins have been moved.
- Various translation fixes.

Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.8.0 update, which was available on 8/20 included the following! Here are some issues that are fixed for this update that our fantastic community let us know about!
Quests
A floating treasure chest for âTreasure Huntâ has been grounded in Gemstone MountainQuality of Life
If players own more than 999 of an item, they should now be able to see the true number of said item that they own. Fixed an issue where gifting more than one of the same item did not apply multiplier to friendship XP. Players can now open Character Boxes in specific amounts. Maps have all been rendered at an angled view to better match the world as players view it.Clothing
Two outfits have been moved from the hats collection into the proper clothing collection. Two City Town-exclusive hats now have the City Town tag. Changed names of two Scholastic skirts to their correct colors.Misc

2.8.1 Hotfix - (August 28, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.8.1 hotfix is now available. Here are the issues we fixed:
- Incorrect assets will no longer appear (e.g. pumpkins as sparkles)
- Block Party Balloons: "!" indicators will appear where balloons need to be placed
2.8.5 Hotfix - (September 10, 2025)
Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.8.5 update is now available. Here are some issues that were fixed in this update:
Quests
- Missing strings have been fixed in the quest "Perfect Fit."
- The Fishing Derby should not allow fish from locked areas as weekly bounty fish.
Imagination Cafe
- Characters with pending Imagination Cafe orders will not show up as giftable outside of the Imagination Cafe.
- The Imagination Cafe's store now has limits on the number of ingredients players can buy each day. Players may purchase up to 5 of each ingredient per day.
Misc
- Hidarin's requirements have been fixed. She will require two chair furniture items.

Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.7.1 update is available now! Here are some issues that are fixed for this update that our fantastic community let us know about, as well as some new quality of life features!
Quality of Life
- Tabs are now available in the crafting menu and in shops for easier sorting of items.
- Players can now skip animations, such as for crafting stations. This option can be found under "Gameplay" in your settings.
- The player's Home Cabin is now a fast travel location.
- There is now an indicator in your inventory for items that you have never had before in your inventory.
- If one of your Friends is following you, their icon will be grayed out in the phone.
- Players can climb onto docks from water in Gemstone Town.
- The fishing minigame has been rebalanced to make the experience less frustrating and more diverse. Using bait that fish prefer will also help make things much easier. Find issues of Badtz-maru's Fishing Almanac to get tips on what types of bait fish prefer.
- Players can now toggle a setting that restores found gudetama to the island. Gudetamas that have already been found will show an indicator over their head when the player is very close to them. Additionally, found Tophat Gudetamas will visible when the option is enabled. This will include all past Tophat Gudetamas that were found (only when all 52 have been found).
Quests
- "Fond Pond" now requires completion of the quest "Desserted Boat".
- Boulders should spawn as expected during "The Final Challenge".
- Players who may be stuck on "Magma Master" due to an issue with the Golden Challenge count now have a migration which should allow them to continue the quest normally.
- The instructions for "Balloon Boon" have been corrected. Players must take a selfie with a Cloudragon to continue the quest.
- Players should no longer freeze in an animation during "Helping Haida".
Characters
- TOPHAT's "Glitch" ability should work with Moon Cheese and Wormtails.
- Mocha's schedule has been returned to normal. She will visit the island every 4 weeks.
Clothing
- The "Under the Sea" tag has been added to two-toned Scuba clothing.
- Friendship Pochacco Tuxedo Pants have returned to the right color.
Misc
- Random items should no longer appear in the Cafe Computer.
- A CD spawn location has been moved near Seaside Cabin #1. It will now appear on a pole next to the cabin.
- CDs will spawn on the Moon even if the player is using a best friend or the Collector Nul to gather Moon Cheese.
- The gudetama sign will count gudetama found in Icy Peak.
- Players should no longer stay in a constant waving state after using the multiplayer stamina boost.
- Minimap should properly show where snow is falling in Icy Peak.
- Various translation corrections and other small fixes.
2.7.2 Hotfix - (July 10, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade Players! The 2.7.2 hotfix is now available. Here are some issues that were fixed:
- Players should no longer be able to repair cabins before finishing "Make Yourself At Home".
- NPCs should no longer be turned away from players once the player's position is adjusted.
In addition, there will be a 2.7.3 hotfix arriving next week where the following issues will be fixed:
- Players should be able to enter the cave in Spooky Swamp for the quest "Lloromanic Lair."
- The Rockadoodler Roundup step of "An Egg-cellent Plan" should complete after playing the minigame.
- A dialogue pop-up after crafting an item using Chococat's Crafting Bench will be removed.
- Chococat's ability will work when players use a Cabin Crafting Bench.
- The "Show Found Gudetamas" option will be turned off by default. If you want to see any Gudetama you have already found, you can turn this option on in your gameplay settings.
We'll let you know when 2.7.3 drops!
2.7.3 Hotfix - (July 16, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade Players! The 2.7.3 hotfix is now available. As a refresher, here's what's been fixed:
- Players should be able to enter the cave in Spooky Swamp for the quest "LLornomannic Lair."
- The Rockadoodler Roundup step of "An Egg-cellent Plan" should complete after playing the minigame.
- A dialogue pop-up after crafting an item using Chococat's Crafting Bench is now removed.
- Chococat's ability will work when players use a Cabin Crafting Bench.
- The "Show Found Gudetamas" option is turned off by default. If you want to see any Gudetama you have already found, you can turn this option on in your gameplay settings.
2.7.5 Hotfix - (July 23, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade Players! The 2.7.5 update is now available. Here are some issues that have been fixed:
- Sometimes, players during either the "Pirate Pearl" or "Cursed Crates" would have the correct number of crates but could not continue forward. As long as you have the required number of crates, you should be able to complete these quests as intended.
- In rare cases, players may be softlocked because their Cafe Flooring would not appear. This will no longer occur.
- Every 3 days players should have one of the special Kuromi or My Melody furniture as their Treasure Hunt reward.
- The interaction area for hidden chests has expanded.
- The floating chest for the quest "Treasure Hunt" has been grounded.
- The cost for the map hint for "Treasure Hunt" is now the currency type from the biome the reward item is related to.
- NPCs should now climb forward on Icy Peak ladders.
2.7.6 Hotfix - (August 13, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade Players! The 2.7.6 hotfix is now available.
In some cases, the Friendship Festival Finale cutscene would leave players in an unplayable state with a black screen. This was possible if players had not met some characters who appear within the cutscene.
If this affected you, then you should no longer have issues with the cutscenes.
2.6.1 - The Biggest Challenge (May 28, 2025)

Quests
- Fixed an error where Mount Hothead construction could be destroyed with a pickaxe. This should no longer occur.
- Players should no longer freeze when gifting Pekkle 6 Rockadoodlers for "Rockadoodler Roundup."
- Players should no longer need to repeat "Rainy Day Delight" if they have done it before.
- NPCs should no longer take a long time to reach the Caldera during "Saunarator."
- The first selfie can be taken for "Secret Haunts" even if "Friendship Never Fades" is active.
Visitors
- Fixed an error where Nyako would not visit players. Due to this error, Nyako will be temporarily visiting from May 29th to June 2nd. We will revert back to her regular schedule in 2.6.5.
- Swapped some dialogue between Haida and Fenneko.
Collections and Items
- Speckled candles have been removed from collection goals. This item is unobtainable.
- Plushies are no longer customizable in cabin furniture collections.
- Fruit trees have been updated to accumulate one a day for up to 3 days.
- Players can craft the Ultimate Comic for Figments.,
- First dye colors now appear on the Royal Wooden Chair when customizing.
- Avatar customization has been added to all furniture with mirrors.
Misc
- A camera angle has been added behind Seaside Cabin #8 has been added to help locate a Starfall chest.
- Various Japanese and German translation fixes.
2.6.5 Hotfix - (June 11, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.6.5 update will be releasing today! Here are some issues that were fixed that our community let us know about!
Quests Rows by Any Other Name: Players who were softlocked on the task "Explore the Theater" because the Theater was still under construction should now be able to enter the Theater without issue. Ice Cream Dreams: Players should no longer crash when giving Chococat a Chocolate Ice Cream. Cool Croc/Stargazing: Some players could not finish Cool Croc because it required Moon Cheese, which is not available until Stargazing is finished. Players stuck in this state should receive a Confusing Coffee to give to Big Challenges to finish Cool Croc.
Flowers Some flowers other than the Crystalia are now viable to be planted in the Crystal Caverns. Eggworts and Hibiscus should no longer have a plastic sheen. They have been restored to their original glossiness.Other
Snow Climb Like an Ice Climb starting platform is now visible to all players again.
2.5.5 - Month of Meh (May 1, 2025)

Itâs all eggs everywhere! Month of Meh spotlights gudetama, the lazy egg that has taken Friendship Island by storm⌠kinda. During the Month of Meh, we celebrate the fact that all of us would prefer to stay in bed sometimes. Find yolks as bonuses from Nisetama-san, or by gifting friends, and bring them to the Egg Shrine for egg-cellent prizes. Or donât, itâs really up to you.
Nisetama-san:
Whoâs this mysterious, magnificent, dashing person dressed as an egg yolk? Itâs Nisetama-san, of course! Heâs here on the Island only during the Month of Meh! Take his picture each day - if you can find him - before he poofs away at the end of the month.
Encore Eggs:
The TOPHAT gudetama have returned! As part of the egg-stravaganza this month, any TOPHAT gudetama you haven't found are back again, giving everyone a chance to catch up on rewards and achievements.
Chococat and Tuxedosam Birthdays:
Guess who has a birthday coming up? Youâll be able to play through special stories with Hello Kitty and Friends around their birthdays, so make sure you stop by to celebrate â Chococat and Tuxedosam both have birthdays in May!
2.5.1 - Fruitful Friendships (April 16, 2025)

Join in on the festivities and seek out Mystic Stones to restore joy and magic to the Kingdom! Find them before the Spooky Queen Kuromi does, and be richly rewarded.
Be sure to stop by My Melody and Tuxedosamâs shops for more faire-themed finery and furniture!
A New Sight in City Town:
New shops are opening all over City Town, but Keroppi can't decide on his entrepreneurial dream. Become inspired with Keroppi and Usahana and add a touch of green to the City Town skyline, while reaping the rewards of fun new flavors!
Have a Seat at the Cafe:
Make a new recipe at the Imagination Cafe and, best of all, invite your friends to sit outside and enjoy their food!
Bestie Collection:
Besties, Assemble! The gracious Island Spirit noticed how hard you and your friends work to collect items around the island. She wants to help, too! Find her in the Heart of the Island to organize your besties all at once. Collection has never been easier!
New Visitors and Quests:
Retsuko's free-spirited friend Puko is stopping by Friendship Island and ready to relax⌠but will Restuko be able to kick back as well? Meanwhile, track down some mysterious (and mischievous) missing deliveries, try to find a mysterious giant new critter in Gemstone Mountain, and hang out with Pekkle and Carl as they engage in some âfriendlyâ competition. Also, it seems like Gori and Washimi are⌠up to somethingâŚ
Pompompurin Bestie Quest:
Youâre best friends with Pompompurin, which means that he has the coziest gift anyone could ask for â Learn the art of the nap to find out whatâs in store for you!
Item Overflow:
Didn't make it to Friendship Island today? No worries! Items and pick ups now accumulate over three days to give you more to work with.
Quests
- Bring Your Own Bench should complete when crafting the bench on a friend's island.
- Chococat will now be available during "Rainy Day Delight" when the player needs to craft a Rain Stone.
- An invisible wall left behind after a quest in Gemstone Mountain no longer exists.
City Town
- A fast travel has been added: City Town West.
- Navigating the sewers has been improved in 2 ways.
- A minimap will now show while within the sewers.
- In the map menu, a regional map is now accessible.
- A rainbow beam has been moved away from a City Town fountain that is upgraded after "Fun with Fountains."
- Players will not receive Rainbow Confetti orders in the Imagination Cafe if they have no Confetti available.
- A blank gudetama achievement should not appear after completing Imagination Cafe orders.
Misc
- Fixed color vibrancy issues on Cloud Island.
- Some colliders for tables have been changed, allowing items to sit more naturally on tables.
- Minimaps should now reflect changes made in environment.
- Plus other translation fixes!
2.5.2 Hotfix - (April 18, 2025)
Discord:Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.5.2 hotfix is now available! Here are some issues that are fixed for this hotfix that our fantastic community let us know about!
Players who were unable to interact with characters, flower fields, or other items have their ability to interact restored. Any players whose games froze or had performance after asking friends to collect items with the Island Spirit should have functionality restored. The game should no longer freeze when giving Kuromi the last item in "Gloomy Seasons." The icons for multiple dye variations of pajama clothing are now restored. Rainbow Dango is restored as a three-heart gift for Usahana.
The Comic Stand is restored to its intended state. Players should see only comic in the store for purchase.
2.4.0 - Snow and Sound (February 26, 2025)
App Store:Springtime Celebration:
Spring is in the air! Starting March 2nd, the Sakura bloom and everyone gets to enjoy beautiful blossoms. To celebrate the season, gather up the Petals around the Resort and exchange them for elegant new outfits and decor. Also, be sure to check out Tuxedosam's Shop and My Melody's Gift Shop for rare springtime clothing and furniture finds!
Snow Village:
Rumor has it there have been sightings of houses way up in the snow on the peaks above; can you find them and restore their cozy cabin vibes? Repair the Snow Village and discover new fish, critters, furniture, and ... very chilly-looking gudetama on the far side of Icy Peak.
Chilly Chambers:
Slide your way to success in new, frigidly-themed puzzles around Icy Peak. You might have to get a bit pushy to claim the rewards inside.
New City Town Shop:
Business opportunities abound in City Town! Someone's excited to get in the groove and open their own storefront. Musical opportunities abound if you can help them get it just right.
New Fiery Flower: Wish me mell and Nina are trying to grow a new flower! If you're tired of ice and snow, hike up to the top of the Caldera with them!

Imagination Cafe
- Umbrellas for the Imagination Cafe have been changed from black to their intended red color.
- Previously, Grand Opening furniture would not be in the Cafe Computer until the next daily reset. Now, players should receive the Grand Opening furniture in their Cafe Computer after the cutscene that unlocks it.
Misc
- Flower sort order has been restored to correct order.

Another of Retsukoâs friends is joining her on Friendship Island! Gori is on her way to enjoy a well-deserved vacation.
Meanwhile, Pekkleâs family is also coming to stay. His girlfriend, Ruby, is sure to love dancing in the Dance Hall and his sometimes rival, sometimes friend Carl will be happy to climb and explore the heights of Gemstone Mountain.
2.3.1 Hotfix - (January 27, 2025)
Hello friends! Our 2.3.1 hotfix launched today! These are some issues that are fixed for 2.3.1:- The issue that some players faced with giving My Sweet Piano items during the "Rainbow's End" quest has been resolved. Players should be able to give her the items she needs and proceed through the quest without any issue.
- Players were unable to give a Lucky Star to the Wishing Star in the "Wishing Stars" questline because there was no "!" pop-up should be able to continue as normal.
- Any players stuck in a loop in "Super Secret Surprise" should be able to end the quest by completing the cutscene where you receive TOPHAT party favors.
- If you were stuck in the first sewer puzzle due to a multiplayer bug and were unable to press the button to complete it in 2.3, this hotfix makes this puzzle's button always interactable. Anyone who was stuck previously just needs to press the puzzle button again to mark that puzzle as complete.
- In very rare cases, some players were attempting to complete "Mountain Hopes" but could not climb the mountain due to the stamina drain of the blizzard. Players doing "Mountain Hopes" should no longer have this issue when climbing.
- The filter button has returned for furniture and is working as intended.
2.3.2 Hotfix - (February 4, 2025)
Hello Apple Arcade players! The 2.3.2 hotfix is now available! Please make sure to download it from the Apple Arcade store. Here are some of the issues fixed in this hotfix:Visitors
- We fixed an issue where Nyako wasn't visiting under most circumstances. She should now show up normally!
- To make up for Nyako not visiting, she will have a weekly visit schedule until the 2.4 release. Players who missed her can use this opportunity to catch up on missed star ratings.
Quests
- Players can now catch any fish in Mount Hothead to count for the "Fish Tales" quest
- In some cases, players could not turn on the Arcticfier for the Mountain Hopes quest. Players that are stuck will be able to continue as intended.
Misc
Any achievement that requires obtaining unique items, such as fish, critters, or comics, will be restored to their previous value. For example, if you were working on a fishing achievement that went from 7/10 to 0/10, and you caught 2 fish in 2.3.1, your fishing achievement will now display as 9/10.

2024 Updates
2.2.0 - Sewer Shakedown (December 11, 2024)
New Area - City Town Sewers:What mysteries could be lurking under City Town? When everyone goes to explore, they find a magical maze of glittering tunnels harboring new critters, new fish, and teeming with puzzles to solve. Also, how did all these gudetama get down here?
Lighttime Jubilee:
On December 19, get ready for bright lights and fireworks, because this year the grid is ready to go! Chococatâs excited for the Lighttime Jubilee. It shouldnât be any trouble at all⌠but when he flips the switch, nothing happens. Collect missing lightbulbs to brighten the Island and turn them in for flashy rewards.
New Flower - Glowbal:
Exclusive to the Lighttime Jubilee! Add some flashy pizzazz to your flower patch with this limited-time bloom.
Imagination Cafe - Onigiri:
Level up your chef skills â use the Seaweed growing underneath City Town to whip up new tasty treats in the Imagination Cafe.
Birthday Quests:
Kiki isnât sure what to get for Lala for their birthday! Heâs not always on top of these things. Help him get advice from friends to get ideas for the perfect gift.
New Visitors:
Keroppiâs sister and brother, Koroppi and Pikki, are on their way to Friendship Island. Hang out with the triplets and discover that sometimes a hands-off approach is better than hovering.
Meanwhile, Fenneko is determined to figure out whatâs going on with Friendship Island⌠after Haida has safely arrived.
Bug Fixes
Quests -Corune was sometimes unable to be found during "Time of Milk" because he would not go to the quest location. Players should be able to find him in his correct spot at Merry Meadows for this quest.
-In addition to this, some players were unable to interact with Cinnamoroll at Seaside Resort for "Time for Milk." He can be interacted with now without any issues.
-Quests that involved two players taking a selfie were not registering as complete. You should now be able to take pictures and complete these multiplayer quests.
-Some customizations were not registering for users with "Renovation Imagination." This is fixed.
-Cinnamoroll would sometimes not appear during "Rainbow or Bust" in City Town. He's now back and ready to continue the quest!
-In rare cases, Wish me mell might appear out of bounds for "Beach Blossoms" and "Fen Flora." She should be right on land where she needs to be for these quests.
-During Call to Adventure part 4, Kiki and Lala would say they were leaving, but they would not teleport away. They now leave on their own accord.
Events -Players who received Usahana's gift when asking for Wish me mell's gift should have their gifts switched.
-Any other issues with gifting characters their presents for Give & Gather should also be fixed.
-Pompompurin now has his hat for his sweater.
-My Sweet Piano is now able to wear her sweater.
-Some players had issues equipping Scholastic Celebration and Spooky Celebration outfits to their friends despite experiencing cutscenes. A migration has been written to fix this.
Quality of Life -If players have not found Rainbow Beams yet, any items that use them for crafting will be hidden.
-Character boxes can now be placed in cabins.
-Players can now place Cinnamoroll Cocoa in cabins.
-50th anniversary mochi now satisfies Panya's requirements.
-Lolita is now categorized as Spooky.
-Issues with selecting flowers for Composter have been fixed.
-Players using controller had issues opening and using the daily calendar. There should no longer be issues on the daily calendar with controller.
-For underwater plots, anything planted should have a doubled growth rate, since players can't use their watering can. That way they grow at the same rate as someone who is routinely keeping up with their gardening.
-Players are able to craft more than one beeswax again.
-Some chests, such as the chest in the Reef Maze, are now breakable. Similar goes for other Rainbow Reef Chests and in Mount Hothead caves.
Misc -The white parts of some Hello Kitty furniture appeared red, especially on low-end devices. It should look white now!
-A chest has appeared at the 2nd tier plaza of Merry Meadows heading towards the Seed Dispenser/Composter that has orange candle crafting plans.
-A chest has appeared on the 5th tier of Merry Meadows near the ponds that has black candle crafting plans.
-Color on metal of kitchen sink has been corrected.
-Some HK50th food was sinking into tables. They should sit on the tabletop normally!
2.2.1 Hotfix - (December 17, 2024)
The following should now be working properly:- The quest "Meet the Island Beings" is required for most events. Some players who had finished "Power the Gate" but not "Meet the Island Beings" would have their presents for Give and Gather opened early. If this happened to a player, once they complete "Meet the Island Beings:", their event will return to how it was before, except they opened character gifts early. Any general gifts that are unopened are also kept.
- Sewers crashes are fixed for devices that were experiencing issues, and any sewers-related issues we could find with collision and completing quests.
2.1.5 - 2024 Give & Gather Celebration (November 20, 2024)
Quests- Cinnamoroll could not be interacted with because of an issue where Mocha had 6 stars. In 2.1, we fixed this so users could not *get* Mocha to 6 stars. For those who already had her ad 6 stars, this should be removed, making Mocha a permanent visitor at 5 stars. Cinnamoroll will be free to interact with again, allowing players to continue certain quests.
- For some players, Hello Kitty would run back to the cafe instead of staying at the beach for a photo for the Family Vacation quest. She should stay at the beach now.
- Some players experienced a bug where My Melody would have an exclamation point above her head when she had no quests to give the player. This exclamation point should now be gone.
- During "An Apple A Day", Hello Kitty would sometimes get stuck in the floor in front of the Pizza Oven. She should now walk on land just fine, allowing players to continue the quest.
- In rare cases, a player's game would freeze when talking to Kuromi during Day Dreamy Drama. This should no longer be the case.
- Players who are trying to take pictures for Secret Haunts should be able to do so without returning color to the island through the quest "Friendship Never Fades".
- A very small number of players experienced an error during the cutscene in Lucky Stars that would not give them the crafting plans to create a lucky star. Users who are stuck on this part of the quest should have the plans now.
Events
- For players that started the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary event but did not finish collecting the cards, the cards are now "evergreen" and will stay on your island until you finish collecting all cards.
- The Gold Bow from the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary event is now available. layers that already found all the cards during the event should get an extra cutscene with Cinnamoroll where he gives the gold bow. Players that did not find all the cards during the event, but do so afterwards should get all rewards including the gold bow in the same cutscene.
Quality of Life
- Tapping on items to scroll in the multi-item pickers, such as the composter, no longer selects them.
- A chest in Mount Hothead was unobtainable because the chest was in a shallow pool where players could not dive. This chest has been moved to land.
- Some players were noticing a delay in tapping dialogue options. There should be a short delay for interacting with dialogue options that turns on only for keyboard and controller. For mouse and touch, there is no delay at all.
Misc
- For some players, they would not get customers to the Imagination Cafe for several days. This usually occured because the game would attempt to select a visitor who was not a permanent resident. There should no longer be issues with a lack of customers.
- There was an issue where teal and mint flowers were out of order in player inventories. This has been fixed.
- Azuki's daily gift was changed to beeswax in 2.1. For 2.1.5, it has been returned to her original gift of chocolate chai.
- Players can put Sakura in their cabins.
- A few spelling and grammatical errors have been fixed for the English (UK) version of the game.
- Newer players found themselves earning achievements for flowers when they picked up different ingredients. These achievements can now only be earned by collecting the correct color of flower.
- The Jam Jamboree collection has a hat that is "locked" for users. This is a hat that we did not give out to players, and it will be removed from the achievements.
- IC wallpaper has returned to its original blue color.
- Spooky Celebration Event Stand is no longer magenta.

2.1.1 Hotfix - (November 6, 2024)
| The following should now be working properly:- Some players were running off-screen when interacting with Hello Kitty for certain quests. This is now resolved.
- Resolved an issue where players were blocked from Retsuko's Birthday Quest because of the quest The Band Is Back.
- For players that are having issues with doing Hello Kitty's birthday quest due to Cinnamoroll being blocked, the quest's duration has been extended.
- During The Band is Back Part 3, characters such as Pekkle and Hangyodon were missing from the map or out of the frame to take a picture on the stage. This has been fixed.
- Players should no longer have to "recompanion" their friends to use their abilities.
- Usahana's character box should not be available yet. It is no longer obtainable, but it will return in a future update.
- Previously, ombre patterns were not appearing on Dreampuffs. You should be able to see these colors on your flowers now!
- Some furniture stacking issues have been solved, such as displaying food in display cases, stacking items on the Jamboree Event Stand, putting critters on the Hugs and Hearts Event Stand, and items on the Imagination Book Pedestal.
- Players should now be able to buy multiples of certain Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary furniture.
- The Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Bed has been moved from the music tab to the furniture tab.

- Multi-Companions: During this event, players can now unlock the new ability to companion with two friends at once! Bring even more characters along on your adventures for more bonuses and more fun.

- Sunshine Celebration: The Sunshine Celebration returns on July 10th, with a brand-new twist! My Melody ordered plenty of lemons for lemonadeâfar too many. Collect and trade them at the Lemonade Stand for refreshing citrus-themed rewards. If you missed last yearâs Celebration, the classic Sunshine rewards are back for you to earn and keep!- New Avatars â Horses: Have you herd? You can now choose a horse as your avatar type for a new look! Try these adorable options with new styles, features, and patterns.
- Ghostgleam Flower: Add even more elegance to your flower patches! The Ghostgleam Flower is an ethereal beauty that will look right at home in a new Spooky garden.
- Saunarator: Whatâs this wreck uncovered in Mount Hothead? The Saunarator produces a Steamy effect once it has been repaired. Look out for Scorching Sunfish, Hearthlings, and new Thermals when the steam rises!
- Music Players: Looking to add that perfect ambiance to your cabins? Now you can add Music Players to your rooms! Collect over 150 discs around the Island, and choose whichever you want to listen to. Sounds great to us!
- New Stories: Keep your eyes peeled for brand-new weekly stories! Deliver hot cocoa with Cinnamoroll, jog around the Island with Pochacco, and run a Pop Up Pizzeria with Badtz-maru!
- Birthday Quests: Guess who has a birthday coming up? Celebrate My Sweet Piano and Keroppi with unique quests for their special days!
- New Visitors: Some extraordinary guests will soon be vacationing on the Island; look out for Poron and Marin!
Oasis
Cherry Blossom trees have moved from the Oasis to the Merry Meadow! Theyâre happy and thriving there. Once revived, the rest of the trees around the Dessert Boat lake are more lush.
Gemstone Town
Weâve improved the pathing in the original area, rearranged some building placements, and created specific zones for pickups (cactus garden for cactus cream, deadwood forest is a new source of sticks). Happy foraging!
1.7.5 - Paper Parade (June 12, 2024)
Our new event, Paper Parade, will begin June 13th. Itâs time to get colorful! The Paper Parade is here, a holiday to celebrate individuality, self-expression, love, and being yourself. Itâs one of Tuxedosamâs favorite holidays of the whole year⌠and in honor of that, heâs building a Paper Parade Float! Collect different Paper Crafts from Hello Kitty and Friends, learning what each character loves to create, and add them to the Paper Parade Float for artistic rewards. Working together, youâll make the best-ever one-float-parade!Play Together
Apple Arcade is celebrating the great fun we can have gaming with friends and family. For a limited time until July 4th, jump into Hello Kitty Island Adventure with a friend to get new multiplayer emotes: Yoga Poses, Meh Shrug, and the Hula. (Please post your best hula snaps to â screenshots !)
Accessibility Improvements
Flower Improvements: Working with Flowers just got a little easier!
- You can now stack flowers when compositing -- time for some bulk fertilizer!
- There's now a tab specifically for flowers when editing your cabin
- The UI should remember the last thing you planted, making it easier to plant repeats
- We flipped the gradients on patterned Eggwort and Marigolds to be consistent with the other flower types
- We fixed the trim pattern on Marigold flower crowns
Better Weather: We've included several improvements to weather in 1.7.5, with more to come:
- Weather timers will now persist across sessions, so if it says rain is coming later when you log off, it will still be coming later when you log back in
- We've also shortened the maximum time between weather events to 40 minutes
- We've removed Starfall Chests spawning in inaccessible locations
- We've added Starfall Chests to Cloud Island
- We've removed the quests to catch Weather-related Critters
Small Bug Fixes: We've fixed several soft locks and other bugs to improve player experience

- The Merry Meadow has even more to discover! Magic beanstalks guide the way to the Meadowâs upper glades, revealing new treasures and secret rooms. Hereâs a tip: youâll want to dust off those puzzle-solving skills!
- New visitors are here; Hello Kittyâs Mama and Papa have finally arrived for a sweet vacation with the family! Poco and Chico will also be visiting and canât wait to stop by and say hello to you and Wish me mell.
1.6.5 Update - Month of Meh (Apr 29, 2024)
- Itâs all eggs everywhere! Month of Meh spotlights gudetama, the lazy egg that has taken Friendship Island by storm⌠kinda. During the Month of Meh, we celebrate the fact that all of us would prefer to stay in bed sometimes. Find yolks in over-sized eggs, as bonuses from Nisetama-san, or from gifting friends, and bring them to the Egg Shrine for egg-xcellent prizes. Or donât, itâs really up to you.
- Whoâs this mysterious, magnificent, dashing person dressed as an egg yolk? Itâs Nisetama-san, of course! Heâs here on the Island only during the Month of Meh! Take his picture each day - if you can find him - before he poofs away at the end of the month.
- Pompompurin and Pekkle have teamed up to create an all-new cooking station: the Egg Pan! Get the campfire going to bring new egg-based treats to all your friends, like Omelet, Crepes and Tarts. So egg-xciting!
- The TOPHAT gudetama have returned! As part of the egg-stravaganza this month, any TOPHAT gudetama you haven't found are back again, giving everyone a chance to catch up on rewards and achievements.
- Guess who has a birthday coming up? Youâll be able to play through special stories with Hello Kitty and Friends around their birthdays, so make sure you stop by to celebrate â Chococat and Tuxedosam both have birthdays in May!

- Flowers - Start your very own flower garden! Collect and plant seeds to grow beautiful flowers around the Island. Depending on your methods, youâll even have the chance to grow rare and special varieties â the only way to find them is to get your hands dirty!
- Springtime Celebration - The Springtime Celebration is arriving March 2nd, and the trees will be in full bloom! Collect petals all around the island and exchange them for beautiful Japanese-inspired decor and fashion, including your very own kimono.
- Picture Time - The Selfie Camera gets a major upgrade: now your friends can smile and wave at the camera too! Itâs ideal for posing those big group selfies, or just getting the picture-perfect shot with your bestie. Now, letâs do a silly one!
