According to Badtz-maru Badtz-maru's Fish Almanac Fish Almanac - City Town #2, "The Sunbarb Sunbarb has a strong preference for Boba Tea Boba Tea."

According to Badtz-maru Badtz-maru's Fish Almanac Fish Almanac - City Town #6, "Grain Grabber Lure Grain Grabber Lure is a favorite of the Sunbarb Sunbarb."

Catching any size of Sunbarb Sunbarb for the first time gives 1x Stick Stick. Occasionally, the player will also obtain the Music Disc -20.png "Daydream Days (Twilight Mix)" music disc when catching a Sunbarb Sunbarb.
