City Town is a vibrant metropolis cityscape adorned with towering skyscrapers painted in every hue imaginable, shimmering with playful colors of the rainbow. At the heart of the city lies the enchanting 
Imagination Cafe, a place where the player can create exciting food items and serve customers.

During the "Ship Shape" quest, 
Badtz-maru discovers a mysterious ship with no crew at his dock. With the help of the player, 
Keroppi, 
Chococat, and 
Kuromi, the ship is repaired with a new power source: the 
Essence of Imagination, made by combining 
Figments. The next day, they set off, along with 
Cinnamoroll, "Into the Fog" (quest) on the boat. They arrive at the City Town dock on an entirely new island.
Afterwards, the player can use either fast travel or the boat at the 
Resort Docks to reach City Town again.
As the player increases their friendship with 
Usahana, they will also eventually unlock access to another area of the city: the Sewers.
Navigating City Town can be more difficult than some regions in the game because of how much of it is arranged vertically. Climbing is very important, as is being able to use your 
Balloons well.
The pipes on the side of the buildings around City Town can be climbed to reach the rooftops. To reach the top of the tallest pipes, it is useful to:
Stamina Apples
Pekkle's 
Speed Climber Ability companion ability, which increases climbing speed.
Retsuko's 
Adrenaline Ability companion ability, which decreases stamina loss.
Stamina Recharge Potion, which also decreases stamina loss. (It cannot be used if the Adrenaline ability is active.)Navigating the rooftops and City Town's sky requires a different focus. The best ways to navigate the heights are to:
Balloons.
levers hidden around the region. See Air Vent Switch Location Map Cinnamoroll's 
Soar Ability companion ability, which decreases the altitude lost when floating with Balloons. This is especially good for reaching distant targets.
Pompompurin's 
Pudding Pants Ability companion ability, which increases the maximum jump height. Kuromi's 
Super Balloon Ability companion ability, which gives a height boost when using Balloons to float.
Thermal Potion, which also provides a height boost when using Balloons. (It cannot be used if the Super Balloons ability is active.)
Important Note
The thermal air vents give an extra height boost only if entered below a certain height (like a normal jump from ground level). Therefore, the abilities of Pompompurin or Kuromi (or the use of a Thermal Potion) prevent the vent's extra height boost from working properly, but those boosts can be worked around if the player lets themself float down and enters the vent's air stream from a normal height.

Sewers Sewers can only be accessed after completing the "Above and Below" quest, when Usahana leads the way underground. To enter the area, the player must

The City Town / Wheatflour Wonderland Portal is unlocked during the "Saving Snacks" quest. Its location, north of Cogimyon's Corral, is blocked by an 
Opal Forcefield that the player must use an 
Magic Wand forged using an 
Opal Gemstone to remove. Once the player removes the forcefield, they will be able to unlock the "Saving Snacks" quest.

Decorative flowers can be placed in 243 slots throughout the 
City Park, West City Park, and other rooftop areas. By default, all these flower beds are empty, but they can be edited at any time by 
interacting with the flower bed.
There are 78 beds: 32 linear beds containing five slots each, 11 triangular beds containing three slots each, and 35 round/hexagonal beds containing one slot each. Flowers placed here will not grow, breed, or mutate. Players can place plucked flowers in these beds, but not seeds or troweled seedlings. This feature is purely decorative as there are no in-game benefits gained by placing particular flowers.
