Critters can be caught around Friendship Island and can be caught using the Net and Bubble Wand. The player can donate critters to the Nature Preserve, the Cloud Island Critter Corral or the Merry Meadows Critter Corral.

There are three different rarities of critters: Common, Uncommon, and Rare. (Currently, no Legendary critters exist.) Most Uncommon and Rare critters have the rare tag.
