Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary (Event)
Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary was an 
Event in 2024 that celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Hello Kitty. It was preceded by the Spooky Celebration and was the twenty-third available event in-game. The Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary event ran from October 19, 2024, until the end of November 15, 2024.
Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary will not repeat as the 50th Anniversary, but all event items, palettes, recipes, etc. WILL be made available again in some way in the future.
The description of the event's flower, the 
Bowblossom, refers to the event as Hello Kitty's Anniversary Gala. That could be what the event will return as in the future.

Overview (2024)
It’s time for the biggest event of the year! Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary is here, and she can’t wait for you to join her for this show-stopping celebration. Join Hello Kitty and Friends for a mega-bash highlighting the sweet past and shining future of everybody’s favorite friend: Hello Kitty! Celebrate with new outfits, foods, and furniture galore during this once-in-a-lifetime event. Pop Bubbles and find Bows to unlock an unprecedented amount of unique themed goodies, all while learning more about Hello Kitty. Bring beautiful magic to your gardens with a Hello Kitty-inspired flower and brand-new effect.
The main purpose of this event is to celebrate 50 years of Hello Kitty! This is done via the user collecting 
Commemorative Bow and 
Bubble and using them to purchase 50th Anniversary clothing or 50th Anniversary furniture at the Celebration Stand. Trade your Bubbles and Bows for an abundance of new delights—avatar palettes, furniture, decorations, and more! The player can also collect a total of 51x Hello Kitty Collectible Cards to collect. There are 39 types of items in this event's 
Collection Goals (not including Hello Kitty Collectible Cards).
Currency
Bubbles
Bubbles are one of the main forms of currency for the Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary event. They can be used to purchase limited-time goods from the Celebration Stand in the Resort Plaza and also used to cook various recipes. Bubbles appear around the main island of the 
Seaside Resort. To collect a Bubble, the player must walk into it to pop it.
20x Bubbles per day can be found around 
Seaside Resort, typically in groups of 5x Bubbles. To collect a Bubble, the player must walk or jump into it to pop it. (Note: 21x Bubbles could be found on the 1st day, but 1 of those was from the opening cutscene.)
Missing days does not allow for more Bubbles to be collected.
Commemorative Bows
Commemorative Bows are one of the main forms of currency for the Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary event. They can be used to purchase limited-time goods from the Celebration Stand in the Resort Plaza. A total of 1x Commemorative Bow can be found each day. 1x Commemorative Bow can be found each day in the Seaside Resort's Resort Plaza.
If a player misses 1-2 days of the event entirely and does not log in to the game on those days, they can find an additional Commemorative Bows around the Resort Plaza to make up for each of the lost days. They can get 2x Commemorative Bows if they missed the previous day and 3x Commemorative Bows if they missed the previous 2 days.
Event Stand
The Event Stand acts as a shop for Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary limited-time items. Commemorative Bow and Bubble can be traded for the furniture and avatar palettes sold here.
Bowblossom
Bowblossoms are flowers that grow in the wild during Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary. During the event, █ warm pink, █ seafoam, and █ lilac Bowblossoms can randomly appear in any empty flower plot in the 
Merry Meadow and Seaside Resort. The first flower plots are only available with access to Merry Meadow after the "Curious Caverns" quest, and Seaside Resort flower plots unlock after the "Beach Blossoms" quest.
Bowblossoms cannot be turned into seed packets by digging them up or by using the 
Seed Dispenser. However, they can be bred and can be moved around using the 
Trowel once they are grown. After the event ends, they will no longer spawn outside of the 
Greenhouse, but they will still be able to develop 
iridescent patterns if fertilized. Their plucked flowers are giftable.
Hello Kitty Collectible Cards
Hello Kitty Collectible Cards are special collectable items that are available for the 
Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary, starting after a cutscene with 
Cinnamoroll plays. For each cutscene that plays, a few days apart, 10x Hello Kitty Collectible Cards can be found around 
Friendship Island. There are a total of 51 Hello Kitty Collectible Cards around the island to commemorate 50 years of fabulous looks!
The cards will continue to be available after the 
50th Anniversary event ends for players who played during the event but did not collect all of the cards.
Collecting all 51 cards unlocks an additional cutscene with special rewards!

Exclusive Recipes
Most of the event Recipes can be made at any time, as soon as the player has acquired some of the event-only ingredient: Bubbles.
A few of the event Recipes only become available after a cutscene with 
Pochacco plays, at least one reset after the start of the event. After the cutscene, up to three recipes can be learned in the 
Imagination Cafe by popping the Bubbles that appear against the back wall. To find the recipes for 
50th Anniversary Mochi, 
50th Anniversary Dango, and 
50th Anniversary Boba, the player must have learned the respective recipes for 
Mochi, 
Dango, and 
Boba.

Outfits for Characters
Participating in the event can unlock different outfits for certain Island Residents. Once obtained, the player can ask the character to change into the outfit at any time. These are mostly unlocked through cutscenes that automatically trigger at resets sometime during the event. (
Retsuko does not get 50th Anniversary Original Overalls because of differences in her licensing.)
Dear Daniel has the 50th Anniversary Tuxedo obtained as a clothing option partway through the above event. Unlike the player's version, his is not called an "Iridescent" tuxedo.
Hello Kitty has three outfits obtained from the event:
- The 50th Anniversary Iridescent Outfit that consists of the "50th Anniversary Iridescent Dress" and the "50th Anniversary Bubble Clip".
- The 50th Anniversary Patterned Outfit that consists of the "50th Anniversary Pattern Dress" and the "50th Anniversary Pattern Bow".
- The 50th Anniversary Gold Outfit is obtained as a clothing option one day after collecting all 51 Hello Kitty Collectible Cards.

Hello Kitty Collectible Cards first become available after a cutscene with
Cinnamoroll plays, which usually happens on the 2nd day of the event.
Exclusive Recipes first become available after a cutscene with
Pochacco plays. It should happen at least one reset after the start of the event. After the cutscene, three recipes should be available by popping three Bubbles located in the 
Imagination Cafe.
