Dear Daniel
Hello Kitty (girlfriend)Location
Dear Daniel is Hello Kitty’s boyfriend and a possible island visitor. He will visit the player anytime, if his 
Visitor Cabin Requirements are met. Until he reaches a 
5-star friendship level on your island, he will assign Daily Quests (usually related to Hello Kitty), one quest per visit to your island. His daily gift for talking to him is 
Mama's Apple Pie.
When talking to Dear Daniel, if the player selects the "Will you change outfits?" dialog option, the player can change Dear Daniel's outfit. There are two choices: the 
Island Visitor Outfit or the 
50th Anniversary Tuxedo.

Unlocks
Dear Daniel as a 1-star visitor are one of the requirements to unlock the following quests:
- "Bigger on the Inside" quest
- Unlocks the ability to upgrade
Visitor Cabins (must wait one day after gaining 
1-star visitor status is also required).
- Unlocks the ability to upgrade
Dear Daniel as a permanent 5-star resident are one of the requirements to unlock the following quests:
- "Relationship Goals" quest
- Unlocks the Orange
Furniture Customization option for the 
Hello Kitty Furniture

Visitor Cabin Requirements
For 
Dear Daniel to move into a Visitor Cabin, it must meet the following requirements:
- Must be in
Seaside Resort to be near Hello Kitty (includes Cozy Islands) - Must have three pieces of furniture (any type)
- Must have a Mama's Apple Pie
Quests
Special Requirements
Dear Daniel will not make his 4-star request until at least one reset after the player has learned the 
Red Bow Apple Pie recipe by baking it in their 
Oven, learning it at friendship level 22 with Hello Kitty, or being gifted it by a 
Multiplayer friend. (The recipe must be learned/gifted on the player's own island, not on a multiplayer friend's island.) His 5-star request requires the Oven upgrade, unlocked at friendship level 15 with Hello Kitty.
Dear Daniel can continue to visit even if the player does not meet the requirements to receive the above requests. However, he will not offer a new quest past 3-star until the 4-star requirement is met.
