Inventory
In the 
Inventory, Furniture is found in the 
Furniture Tab. They can be filtered by Type or by 
Tag.

Filters by Tag
Items can also be filtered by Tag. For Furniture, most of these filters are by Event or furniture set/collection.
For furniture without a set tag, refer to Miscellaneous Furniture. That page lists furniture that does not reside within any specific furniture set/collection.

Island Visitors
Many Island Visitors require various pieces of furniture to fulfill their cabin requirements. Island Visitors may require a certain Type or Tag for their cabin.

Multiplayer
In 
Multiplayer, furniture cannot be gifted or traded to other players unless the pair doing the gifting/trading have completed the 
multiplayer friendship level 1 tasks together.
