Thank you so much for celebrating the Friendship Festival with us. It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year of Hello Kitty Island Adventure! We've had an amazing journey together, winning awards like Apple Arcade Game of the Year and People’s Choice at the Webby’s. Your support has made this year so much fun.

"Sunblink Mail & 1.7 Update"	Hello, everyone! The new Sunblink Mail feature lets us, the developers behind the game, talk to you more quickly and directly about changes, fixes, and updates to Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Today we have two important announcements about the 1.7 Update: Sprinkler Hat to Water Entire Patches Starting now, you will be able to wear your own Sprinkler Hat! While you're wearing the sprinkler hat, watering any flower will water all flowers in that flower patch. In a future update, we’ll be changing how this works so that folks don’t feel the need to constantly wear the sprinkler hat, but we wanted a “quick fix” for the watering fatigue until then. Photo Saving Options When you go to save a photo, you will now have options about where the photo is saved/shared. This will be based on your device's capabilities. We did this for folks who wanted to share/copy an image without it taking up space on device. (Note you can still easily save to device by choosing "save to device" from the list). Longer term, we intended to break these out into separate options ("Save" and "Share"), but for now, they'll show up when you choose to Save. We hope you enjoy the 1.7 Update. "1.7.1 Hotfix"	We just released the 1.7.1 Hotfix. The following should be working properly: •Chococat's crafting bonus is active again •Super Siblings quest no longer affects game saving •Keroppi and Badtz-maru are no longer blocked by the Rainy Day Rambles •Breaking boulders out of order no longer blocks the Cafe Cinnamon Unite quest •The red dot for giftable character is back on the map •Fixed pattern flower duplication glitch •A few other small fixes The following issues are still under investigation: •Longer than an hour wait between weather events •Performance issues during weather events •Unexpectedly speedy flower growth in Mt Hothead •Seeds not being watered by Sprinkler Hat PS: Have some bonus yolks for Nisetama-san being a little-too-hidden for some folks today :) (8x Yolk) -- 05/20/2024
"Weather Improvements"	Thanks so much to everyone who’s given feedback about their experiences with weather in the game. In light of this feedback, we’re making several changes to how weather works. Coming in 1.7.5 (early/mid June): •Making the weather timer persist between sessions •Shortening the maximum time between weather events •Extending the duration of weather events •Removing the quests associated with catching weather critters •Adding Starfall Chests to Cloud Island during Starfall •Fixing inaccessible Starfall Chest locations •Making it more clear that Starfall only occurs at night We hope these changes will create better experiences for folks, and will continue to monitor and iterate. "1.8.1 Overview + Appreciation"	Welcome to 1.8.1! Get ready for a New Avatar Species, New Weather, and the Sunshine Celebration! We hope you enjoy the 1.8.1 Update and wanted to highlight a few changes to the island. Oasis — Cherry Blossom trees have moved from the Oasis to the Merry Meadow! They’re happy and thriving there. Once revived, the rest of the trees around the Dessert Boat lake are more lush. Gemstone Town — We’ve improved the pathing in the original area, rearranged some building placements, and created specific zones for pickups (cactus garden for cactus cream, deadwood forest is a new source of sticks). Happy foraging! Appreciating Characters – and You! To celebrate this year’s official Sanrio character rankings, we’re giving out some of the most beloved gifts for top characters Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, and Kuromi. We’ve also got a few gifts for you to keep the celebrations going! (20x Paper Craft, 70x Mermaid Scale, 3x Chocolate Chai, 3x Pochacco Energy Pop, and 3x Pumpkin Spice Soda) -- 06/27/2024
"1.8.2 Hotfix"	We just released the 1.8.2 Hotfix. The following should be working properly: •Inventory appears as normal • Trowel works on flower patches in Gemstone Town and Merry Meadows Unfortunately, we have not resolved the issues with the event stand sporadically missing items. There is also a new issue with crafting woodblock, fabric, and blank book. We apologize for the inconvenience. (3x Woodblock, 70x Mermaid Scale, 3x Blank Book, and 3x Fabric) -- 07/03/2024
