The Airplane is the plane that is used to travel to Friendship Island. The player will start the game on the Airplane during the first quest of the game, "Happy Landings".
Once jumping out of the plane, the player can float through 
Obstacle Course Rings and land at the 
Resort Plaza. After successfully falling through all the rings for the first time, the 
Island Challenge Airplane Trophy appears in the Resort Plaza.
The player will regain access to Airplane after completing the "Cinnamoroll is Missing" quest, which will allow them to travel to the Airplane any time by speaking to the 
Propeller Hat Nul.
Perhaps something strange happened to the plane to make it stay in the one place the entire time.
