What Goes Up... (quest series)

"What Goes Up..." is an 'Friendship' quest series with a total of two quests and is unlocked after the player has reached friendship level 13 with Big Challenges and has completed the "Coastal Crawl" quest. After completing one of the quests in the quest series, the player must wait until the following day to complete the next quest.

What Goes Up...: Part 1

Quest Description

"Now that Big Challenges is back he's got plans for Big Adventures Park"

Quest Information

The player meets with Big Challenges, who instructs them to put on their Hard Hat for safety. Once equipped, the player talks to Big Challenges to learn about their next task: fixing up the stairs on the beach of Gemstone Mountain.

First, the player must meet Big Challenges on the beach of Gemstone Mountain. Upon arrival, they will be asked to knock out the supports using their Pickaxe. After completing this task, the player talks to Big Challenges for further instructions.

Next, the player follows Big Challenges to a new location. Here, they must once again knock out the supports with their Pickaxe. After finishing, the player talks to Big Challenges to confirm the task is complete.

Then, the player meets Big Challenges on the beach below Mount Hothead. The player must knock out the supports with their Pickaxe for the third time. Afterward, they will need to talk to TOPHAT who is desperately worried about Big Challenges' safety!

Following this, the player must break the boulders that have fallen and look for Big Challenges within them. Once found, the player talks to Big Challenges and asks the player to find TOPHAT, which to concludes the quest.

What Goes Up...: Part 2

Quest Description

"Now that Big Challenges is back he's got plans for Big Adventures Park"

Quest Information

The player meets with Big Challenges, who needs help gathering supplies for completing the construction project. The player must collect and give Big Challenges: 20x Woodblock, 20x Ingot, 20x Spark, and 20x Gizmo. Once all materials are handed over, Big Challenges will lead the player to the construction site.

First, the player follows Big Challenges to the first construction site at Gemstone Mountain and talk to him for further instructions. Then, the player follows Big Challenges to the second construction site at Gemstone Mountain, where they again talk to Big Challenges to proceed.

Next, the player follows Big Challenges to the final construction site at Mount Hothead and talks to him one last time. Finally, the player needs to collect and give Big Challenges: 30x Rubber to complete the final construction project.
