During Give & Gather Celebration events, Give & Gather Outfit clothing from previous event years can be obtained from the Event Stand in the Resort Plaza, but for a different price than the year before. Current event year regular Give & Gather Outfit clothing can be obtained via Daily Rewards.
Character-themed holiday clothing is not obtained from Holiday Gifts. Instead, they are limited rewards received from opening presents under the Present Pine on or after December 25th. To receive character holiday items, the player must gift character-themed presents (Character Holiday Gifts) to Friends as part of the following questsbefore December 25th:
When all gifts open, the player will receive all items they do not already have from the characters that received their character gifts. Players will not receive duplicates of any character holiday items that they already have.
The player cannot obtain character-themed clothing from trading in Multiplayer. These items are not purchasable at the Event Stand.
Give & Gather Outfit clothing items were originally available for players to unlock starting from November 17th, 2023, until December 26th, 2023. During the Give & Gather Celebration (2023), Give & Gather Outfit clothing items were originally obtainable during the annual Give & Gather Celebration via Daily Rewards and dedicated gifts.
During the Give & Gather Celebration (2024), different rewards may become available through the event depending on if it is the player's first year or second year participating in the Give & Gather Celebration. Year 1: Any players who did not participate in the Give & Gather Celebration in 2023, whether they started after the event or did not participate in the Give & Gather 2023 event. Year 1 players will receive Holiday Sweaters when exchanging dedicated Character Holiday Gifts with Island Residents. Year 2: refers to players who participated in the Give & Gather 2023 event. Participation in the event was necessary; the player had to distribute dedicated Character or generic Holiday Gifts to be considered a Year 2 player. Year 2 players will have Holiday Sweaters available in Tuxedosam's Shop. Both Year 1 and Year 2 players will be able to purchase Gingerbread outfit items in Tuxedosam's Shop.
