Ice and Glow (quest series)
"Ice and Glow (quest series)" is a 
"The Island Mystery" quest series with a total of 3 quests. The quest is unlocked when the player has completed the "Big Challenges' Big Challenges" and "Absence Makes the Heart" quests. The player must also have met 
My Sweet Piano, and have given at least 5 
Spirit Hearts to the 
Island Spirit.
After completing one of the quests in the quest series, the player must wait until the following reset to start the next quest.
Ice and Glow: Part 1
Quest Description
"Explore coziness and friendship to continue to restore the Island Spirit."
Quest Information
The player meets with 
Keroppi, who says that he can feel that everything feels better, and the Island Spirit is regaining her strength and healing. He wants to visit the Island Spirit to see how she is doing and asks the player to meet him at the Heart of the Island.
Once at the Keroppi Keroppi calls out for the Island Spirit and tells her that they are visiting as they think she might feel lonely being down there alone. The Island Spirit says that although it seems like she is only here in the Heart of the Island, she can feel all the life and love around the island. She also says that everything used to feel cold and empty, but it is now slowly warming up. Upon hearing that, Keroppi feels happy and is inspired to prepare a surprise for the Island Spirit. However, this surprise requires a lot of supplies, so he will need to talk to 
Chococat. He also tasks the player to collect building supplies in the meantime.
The player then meets Keroppi back at the Lilypad Lagoon in the 
Spooky Swamp and gives him the building supplies he requested — 5x 
Woodblocks, 5x 
Obsidian Shards and 5x 
Sand Dollars. Keroppi then realizes he never explained his surprise. He says that after hearing the Island Spirit say that the island felt cold and empty before everyone arrived, he realised that different friendships felt different and there are different ways of expressing them. He then asks the player how they felt about their friendships with himself, as well as 
Pompompurin and 
Cinnamoroll. Therefore, he believes that a good and cozy friendship will warm the Island Spirit up. He says that because coziness is best contrasted against something uncozy, building a cozy refuge on 
Icy Peak would be the perfect surprise.
The quest ends with Keroppi asking the player to return the next day so that they can scout Icy Peak for the perfect place with Chococat.
Ice and Glow: Part 2
Quest Description
"Explore coziness and friendship to continue to restore the Island Spirit."
Quest Information
The player meets with Keroppi and Chococat at the Icy Peak Entrance. Chococat expresses his excitement and suspects that the hideaway will likely need to be in one of the Caves. He asks the player to meet them at the First Cave.
Once at the First Cave, Chococat remarks that this cave seems suboptimal as their cozy, happy hideaway. Keroppi agrees, saying that it is beautiful but not quite right. However, there are more caves, so the player is asked to meet them at the Next Cave.
At the Next Cave, Chococat says that this area has several critical factors for coziness, so it can possibly work. However, Keroppi still thinks that something is still not quite right. As Keroppi has been in tune with the Island Spirit and Friendship Island, Chococat says that he will follow Keroppi's lead. The player is then asked to meet them at the Next Cave.
The player then meets Chococat and Keroppi at the Next Cave. Chococat says that this cave has space for construction and is in close proximity to the elements, making it the strongest candidate yet. Keroppi says that this cave makes him feel like they are far away from everything and on their own, but safe. He believes that with work, this will be the perfect place for a happy hideaway.
Chococat then sets up a spot to set down the construction materials. He then says that this will take time to complete and they will need to be careful so they do not become ice sculpture like 
Big Challenges.
The quest ends with Chococat suggesting they take a break and to continue working on the hideaway the next day.
Ice and Glow: Part 3
Quest Description
"Explore coziness and friendship to continue to restore the Island Spirit."
Quest Information
The player meets Keroppi, who says that he's waiting for someone. 
My Melody then appears and thanks Keroppi for the invite. Keroppi figured that My Melody would know how to design the happy hideaway and that she also throws amazing parties. He then asks My Melody what they should get to make the place feel welcoming and warm, to which she says that they will want soft and comfortable things, as well as lots of cheerful lights and 
Hot Cocoa. Keroppi then says that he promised to help Chococat with construction, and asks the player to gather the necessary materials and then meet them on Icy Peak.
Upon meeting the trio in the cave on Icy Peak, the player gives Keroppi the requested materials — 2x 
Lamb Plushies, 2x 
Spooky Candles and 1x Hot Cocoa. Together with the items, original supplies and the perfect spot, they now have everything to warm up Friendship Island and make a space cozy. Chococat then asks the player if they are ready to get to work.
On the completion of the construction of the cozy hideaway, Pompompurin and 
Hello Kitty appear. Hello Kitty praises the coziness of the space, while Pompompurin asks for more cocoa. Chococat then remarks that he cannot think of anything else that would make the place more cozy. Hello Kitty points out that they missed the most important part — friends.
Keroppi then asks to check up on how the Island Spirit. They then see the Island Spirit gaining a new Spirit Heart. After witnessing that scene, Hello Kitty checks up on Keroppi and asks if there is anything she can help with since the player and him both became quiet. The quest ends with Keroppi saying that he was enjoying the moment and asking if everyone wants more cake.
