The Rewards of Research
"The Rewards of Research" is an weekly 'Friendship Quest' quest that is unlocked sometime after the player has completed the "The Briefest of Breaks" quest and has met 
Wish me mell.
Quest Description
"Celebrate 
Chococat's research project with him"
Quest Information
The player will meet Chococat near his 
Crafting Table in 
Seaside Resort. He'll thank the player for their help in completing his research and wants to celebrate his recently published research about the critters on 
Friendship Island! He'll ask the player if they can join him on a hike to 
Gemstone Mountain, after which the player must follow him to a location near the Donut Pond.
Once the player arrives, they must talk to Chococat. They will sit together, enjoying the nature that surrounds them, after which Chococat wants to get back to work! The player will then remind him that they need to celebrate his recents accomplishments—which he'll then tell the player to meet him at the Dessert Boat.
Inside of the Dessert Boat, 
Pompompurin will suggest making 
Pumpkin Pudding to celebrate! The player must then use the 
Dessert Machine to cook 3x Pumpkin Pudding, which will need the following items: 1x 
Cactus Cream and 1x 
Pumpkin. After cooking the Pumpkin Pudding, the player must gift the Pumpkin Puddings to Chococat and Pompompurin.
As everyone enjoys their Pumpkin Pudding, Chococat will discuss his research and Pompompurin will suggest taking a nap!
