"A Water Can to nourish flowers all around the island and help them bloom." |
Usage
The Watering Can is not a selectable option in the player's toolbar. Instead, it only appears on-screen when the player is in close enough proximity to something that can be watered.
Things that can be watered include:
Gift Flowers (pink buds):
Around the island, there are Gift Flowers that look like large pink buds. When watered with the
Watering Can, the
Gift Flowers produce an item, recipe, or crafting plan. These
Gift Flowers can be found in all regions.
Flowers have their growth sped up by 1 day when watered. Flowers are first available when Merry Meadow is unlocked. Watering is not necessary for a flower to grow.
Rainfall Flowers (blue buds):
Rainfall Flowers, when watered using the
Watering Can, produce 1
Raindrop each.
Rainfall Flowers look like large blue buds and appear when it is raining in certain biomes. In order to make it rain on Friendship Island, the player needs to complete the "Rain or Shine" quest.
The Watering Can does get used in other situations. Sometimes a quest will require the use of the
Watering Can. Growing a Beanstalk in
Merry Meadow also requires the
Watering Can.
