The Giant Seed Giant Seed is a special seed that can grow into a giant Beanstalk. The Giant Seed was first found in Merry Meadow Merry Meadow. If planted in the giant plot and watered with the Watering Can Watering Can for 3 days, it grows into a giant Beanstalk vine that is able to reach past the tops of high walls or even all the way to Cloud Island Cloud Island. There are a total of 5 Giant Seeds discovered so far.

Growing Beanstalks

Each Giant Seed Giant Seed must be planted in a separate giant plot of fertile soil. (They do not grow in plots meant for flowers.) To grow a Giant Seed Giant Seed into a Beanstalk, the player must have the Watering Can Watering Can from completing the "Flower Power" quest.

Each Giant Seed Giant Seed requires 3 rounds of Watering Can watering to become a fully grown Beanstalk:

  1. The first can be the same day as planting.
  2. The next requires waiting for the daily reset.
  3. The third requires waiting another reset after that.

Missing watering for a day or more does not have an impact on the Beanstalk, but it cannot grow without being watered by the player.

Each new Beanstalk reaches a new terrace (level) of the Merry Meadow Merry Meadow and removes invisible walls that prevent the player from reaching higher terraces by normal means (such as jumping).

It is highly recommended to not attempt to bypass the invisible barriers that block access to higher areas before a beanstalk reaches them. Attempted "sequence breaking" can cause issues that greatly slow down a player's ability to progress through the Meadow. (Climbing walls without barriers at the top is normal and sometimes required for progression.)

Seed Locations

While Giant Seed Giant Seeds are designed to be found and planted in a specific order, the actual order in which most can be obtained and planted is almost completely flexible. Specific Giant Seed Giant Seeds are not required for specific giant plots, so, for example, the 4th seed in the below table could be used to grow the 2nd Beanstalk in place of the 2nd seed.

It may be faster to befriend Kiki Kiki to unlock areas of Cloud Island Cloud Island to obtain the second seed than it is to befriend Wish me mell Wish me mell.

The latter with the Pompompurin Icon.png "Pudding Pants" ability is recommended. (Refer to the "Helpful Videos" section for more visuals.) map view game view Meadows Gazebo
5 Meadows Gazebo In the area above the 4th beanstalk. The player must have grown the Meadows Creation Station level beanstalk to reach this plot.

Initially, the soil is partly covered by a boulder, which must be broken. Breaking this boulder will make a boulder appear in Cloud Island Cloud Island. The boulder on Cloud Island Cloud Island contains the last Giant Seed Giant Seed. (Refer to the "Helpful Videos" section for more visuals.)

*Note on the second video: While some parts of the video are still accurate, not everything shown is still possible. As of version 2.0.5, reaching the Gazebo terrace requires growing the Temple terrace's Beanstalk first. An invisible wall will block the player if it is not fully grown.
