Icy Peak is a mountainous region on 
Friendship Island with harsh, frozen terrain and towering, snow-capped summits.
As players ascend the treacherous slopes, they must carefully plan their climb, each step a delicate dance between progress and potential mishap. Constant snowstorms with frequent heavy gusts sweep through, reducing visibility and halting all progress towards the top. The summit promises not just breathtaking vistas but also the allure of hidden secrets and formidable challenges. There is also a labyrinth of icy caverns that can provide shelter to tired travelers who want to explore alternative paths.
The cold harsh blizzards that blow around the outer mountainsides all year round without interruption, have heavily hampered the extent of fauna and flora there. Only the 
Woolox and the 
Blubby can live there without freezing to ice. The only flora is the 
Snowcicle and a handful of 
Gift Flowers.

Snow
Unique to Icy Peak, where no other weather occurs and whose weather never shows up on the Menu Tablet's forecast, blizzard storms constantly blow around the outer sides of the mountain. There is constant falling snow blowing eastwards, with strong gusts that near-instantly empty the player's stamina meter if the player is climbing at the time or climbing during the gust, making climbing the mountainsides even more difficult. The gusts most commonly come and go in 9-second intervals, but shorter intervals also occur often.

Apple Arcade.
Once the player has repaired the 
Arctifier the strong winds will stop, allowing the player to climb with ease.
How to Access
The Icy Peak is unlocked when the player begins the "A Challenging Rescue" quest. The player will be unable to climb when the strongest winds are blowing, indicated by the 
stamina reduction icon under the mini-map, because the player's stamina immediately empties if they attempt to climb while the winds are active. Good timing is needed to get to the top. Assistance from a 
Stamina Recharge Potion and Companion Abilities are helpful, and some of the climb can be avoided by navigating through the caverns.
Once the mailbox on the peak is unlocked, navigating the region is most easily done from the top down.

He is trapped in ice at the top of Icy Peak until he is rescued. Afterwards, he will relax on the beach of  Seaside Resort alongside his best friend,  TOPHAT.

Locations 
Icy Caverns
There is a labyrinth of icy caverns within the region with glacial pools and snowy platforms. These can be used to navigate parts of Icy Peak while avoiding the strong winds.

Happy Hideaway
The Happy Hideaway is located within the Icy Caverns of Icy Peak. The Happy Hideaway Photo Op is located there, where the player can take photos with Island Residents or 
Island Visitors.

Hidden Path to Merry Meadow
There is a hidden path from the 
Icy Peak to the 
Merry Meadow. Hidden paths are blocked by boulders. The Icy Peak portal to the Merry Meadow has a boulder on each side, and both must be broken before the portal opens.

Blizzard Peak
Blizzard Peak can only be accessed after completing the "Mountain Hopes" quest.

Arctifier
The Arctifier is a structure located to the right of the Blizzard Peak fast-travel point, on the top of Blizzard Peak. The player will unlock the Arctifier while completing a series of quests that begins with the "Mountain Hopes" quest and ends with the "Peak Weather" quest. After completing the quests, snow will then fall occasionally in certain regions of Friendship Island.
Snow Village
On the other side of Icy Peak resides a cozy winter wonderland — the Snow Village. Snow Village can only be accessed after completing the "Mind the Gap" quest.
After unlocking the area, there are two 
Fast Travel mailboxes for the player to use: Snow Village (Fast-Travel Location) and False Peak. There are three 
Visitor Cabins located at the Snow Village.
