Mermaidified Fashion

"Mermaidified Fashion" is a "The Right Tools" quest and is unlocked when the player reaches friendship level 12 with Tuxedosam and has completed the "Comic Relief" quest. This quest upgrades the Mermaidifier to allow the player to automatically equip mermaid clothes like the Mermaid set.

Quest Information

The player meets with Tuxedosam, who says that he has noticed their need to change into the Mermaid Outfit when they want to go swimming. He says he and the player should go ask Chococat for help. When speaking to Chococat, he says that he has an idea, but he requires "a lot of fish" for some references. Hangyodon joins the conversation to jokingly say, "I'm a lot of fish!". Chococat is amused but still requests the fish from the player.

The player must catch 2 each of the fish shown in the following table and gift them to Chococat. Only the regular/normal size counts; tiny and huge fish cannot be gifted to Chococat. If the player talks to Chococat, he gives details about the locations and times that the fish can be caught.

After gifting the fish to Chococat, he asks the player to meet him at the Mermaidifier.

When the player speaks to Chococat there, Tuxedosam and Chococat explain how to use the newly upgraded Mermaidifier. The player needs to interact with the Mermaidifier while on the central dias, which will allow them to insert certain underwater clothes (such as the Mermaid Outfit) into the Mermaidifier. Once a selection is inserted, the player will then automatically equip the clothing whenever they are in the water.

After the player has finished selecting an outfit, they must speak to Chococat again. Tuxedosam thanks Chococat for removing "a barrier to fashion" and advises the player to go for a swim to try out the new functionality. Chococat wonders if his next project should be a submarine.
