Hangyodon is found around the Rainbow Reef, cleaning up the Rainbow Reef, and working on his "tight ten" for the next Open-Mic Comedy Night at Atlantis.
"Hangyodon is a nice guy (also a fish) who loves to make others laugh but has a soft spot and doesn't like being alone. He has big dreams of being the comedy entertainment at the island resort, but he often needs a little help with his material. He’s a bit of a daydreamer, but his plans often go awry."
While Hangyodon's jokes might fall pun-ishingly flat sometimes, he is very dedicated to the craft. He loves to make people laugh with his stand-up routine and greatly appreciates when the player lends a hand. He ends up getting along well with Retsuko — perhaps because of their shared maturity — and sometimes tells jokes inspired by her heavy metal music.
The player can give Hangyodon up to three gifts per day, which will raise his friendship with the player. Players will receive Candlenut as a reward for each gift given to Hangyodon . The amount received depends on the value of the gift and the closeness of the friendship.
If the player has reached maximum friendship level with Hangyodon , they will receive his Character Gift Box for each gift given or quest completed.
