Mysterious Maps
"Mysterious Maps" is an 
"Friendship" quest that is unlocked starting on May 3rd (5/3) until May 10th (5/10) annually and after the player has completed the "Deep Diving" quest.
Quest Description
"Solve a riddle with 
Chococat to celebrate his birthday"
Quest Information
The player meets with Chococat, who explains that it's almost his birthday but he needs help solving a 
Riddle that he found before he can celebrate. He will then read the Riddle outloud, reciting "Beyond the Cozy Isles, high above the sea...Upon an arch of stone, climb up and you'll find me." Afterward, the player and Chococat will head to 
the Cozy Islands and climb up a nearby stone arch. There, they will find the first Riddle which the player must gift to Chococat. He will then read it, saying "The first step's done and the second's up to you...Find an eerie waterfall and you'll find the next clue."
The player and Chococat will then head to 
Spooky Swamp and will find a second Riddle by a waterfall, which the player must gift to Chococat. He will then read it, saying "Between fire and earth, the third clue you will find...on a beach 'twixt two peaks, then you won't fall behind."
The player and Chococat will next head to the beach between 
Mount Hothead and 
Gemstone Mountain for the third Riddle, which the player must gift to Chococat. He will then read it, saying "Three riddles you have solved... there's one still left to do... Come back to where it all began. A surprise is waiting for you!" Chococat, will then realize that the Resort Plaza is the final location, and the player will head back there with him.
Once arriving at the Resort Plaza and speaking to Chococat, 
My Melody, 
Kuromi, 
Badtz-maru, 
Hello Kitty, and other Island Residents will appear and wish Chococat a happy birthday! The player will be gifted a 
Chococat Party Favor and the crafting plans for 
Chococat Birthday Balloons.
