Net
The Net allows the player to catch Critters at different locations on the island and complete certain quests. It is unlocked by the "Open the Nature Preserve" quest.
Crafting
While completing 
Keroppi's "Open the Nature Preserve" quest, the player will receive the Net recipe from 
Badtz-maru. In order to craft the net, the player will need the following items: 10x 
Stick, 3x 
Thread, 1x 
Light Stone. The net can be crafted at any crafting table.

Usage
To use the 
Net, the player must select it to be their active tool in their toolbar. Then, the player must approach a critter and swipe it with the net before it runs away. A startled critter will show a red exclamation point (!) above their head, and it will run after that. Keroppi as a companion helps with catching critters by making critters less likely to startle and run.
Because the Net only works on land, critters in 
Rainbow Reef must instead be caught with the 
Bubble Wand.
