Spooky Secrets (quest series)

"Spooky Secrets" is an quest series with a total of four quests and is unlocked when the player is actively hosting a Multiplayer session with a friend who is level 2+. The player must have also completed "A Challenging Rescue" and "Friends From Afar", in addition to reaching friendship level 5 with TOPHAT.

TOPHAT and Big Challenges have expanded the Haunted Mansion! After completing one of the quests in the quest series, the player must wait one week (7 days) to complete the next quest. The Basement Library puzzle rooms require two players to complete via Multiplayer.

Spooky Secrets - Part I

Quest Description

" Kuromi and TOPHAT are working together on the Haunted Mansion."

Quest Information

"Spooky Secrets - Part I" is a "Multiplayer" Quest within the quest series. The player will meet Kuromi, TOPHAT, and Big Challenges outside of the Haunted Mansion. Once talking to Kuromi, she will explain that TOPHAT and Big Challenges have expanded the Haunted Mansion! She will then tell the player to find the secret entrance to the Basement Library inside, which is located at the bookshelf to the left of the first Haunted Mansion puzzle room. Once the player enters the secret entrance, they will meet Kuromi, TOPHAT, and Big Challenges inside where they will explain each room within the Basement Library requires two players to complete via Multiplayer.

After speaking to Kuromi, TOPHAT, and Big Challenges, the player will be prompted to complete the first room in the Haunted Mansion's Secret Basement Library. In order to access the first room, two players must stand the yellow star buttons in front of the first room entrance. The first basement library room contains 1 Glitchy Book and 1 Meditations of Resilience. Once completing the room, both players will receive the Forest Witch Hat.

Room Instructions

1. Two players must stand the yellow star buttons in front of the first room entrance.
2. The player on the right side must activate the lever, causing the left side bookshelf to drop down.
3. The player on the left side must stand on the first purple circle button, causing the right side bookshelf to drop down.
4. The player on the left side must stand on the second purple circle button, causing the second right side bookshelf to drop down.
5. The player on the left side must stand on the third purple circle button, causing the third right side bookshelf to drop down.
6. The player on the right side must activate the lever, causing the second left side bookshelf to drop down.
7. The player on the left side must activate the lever, causing the fourth left side bookshelf to drop down.
8. The player on the right side must activate the lever, causing the third left side bookshelf to drop down.
9. The player on the right side must stand on the left red heart button, the middle yellow star button, right red heart button, and the right yellow star button.
10. The player on the left side must activate the following levers: upper left lever, lower middle lever, lower right lever.

Spooky Secrets - Part II

Quest Description

" Kuromi and TOPHAT are working together on the Haunted Mansion."

Quest Information

"Spooky Secrets - Part II" is a "Multiplayer" Quest within the quest series. The player will meet Kuromi outside in Spooky Swamp. Once speaking to Kuromi, the player will be teleported to the Haunted Mansion's Secret Basement Library. Kuromi will then tell the player that there is a new puzzle room available!

In order to access the second room, one player must pull the lever on the second-level platform above the first room. Once pulling the lever, the bookshelf to the left will turn into a ramp, and allow the player to access the entrance to the second room. The second Basement Library room contains 1 The Future of Everything. Once completing the room, both players will receive the Ice Witch Dress.

Room Instructions

1. One player must pull the lever on the second-level platform above the first room. Once pulling the lever, the bookshelf to the left will turn into a ramp, and allow the player to access the entrance to the second room
2. One player must pull the lever near the room entrance to allow the other player to walk across the path to the purple platform.
3. Once player on the right side stands on the purple platform, the other player must pull the lever near the room entrance again to allow them to walk across the path to the purple circle button.
4. Once the player on the left side stands on the purple circle button, the path to the right side will be activated, allowing the right side player to walk across.
5. The player on the right side must then stand on the pink button, allowing them to walk the path to the lever.
6. The player on the right side must interact with the lever, activating the correct path on the left side.
7. The player on the left side must interact with the lever, activating the correct path on the right side, allowing the right side player to walk across the path to the purple platform.
8. Once player on the right side stands on the purple platform, the left side player must interact with the lever again, activating the correct path on the left side, allowing the left side player to stand on the purple circle button.
9. Once the player on the left side stands on the purple circle button, the path to the right side will be activated, allowing the right side player to walk across and stand on the purple circle button.
10. Once the player on the right side stands on the purple circle button, the path to the left side will be activated, allowing the left side player to walk across and stand on the purple circle button.
11. Once the player on the left side stands on the purple circle button, the path to the right side will be activated, allowing the right side player to walk across and interact with the lever.
12. The player on the left side must then walk on towards the exit.
13. Once the player on the left side reaches the end, the right side player must interact with the lever again, causing the path to the right side will be activated.

  Once the player on the left side stands on the purple circle button, the path to the right side will be activated, allowing the right side player to walk across.

  Once the player on the left side stands on the purple circle button, the path to the right side will be activated, allowing the right side player to walk across and interact with the lever.

  Once the player on the left side reaches the end, the right side player must interact with the lever again, causing the path to the right side will be activated.

Spooky Secrets - Part III

Quest Description

" Kuromi and TOPHAT are working together on the Haunted Mansion."

Quest Information

"Spooky Secrets - Part III" is a "Multiplayer" Quest within the quest series. The player will meet Kuromi outside in Spooky Swamp. Once speaking to Kuromi, the player will be teleported to the Haunted Mansion's Secret Library Basement. Kuromi will then tell the player that there is a new puzzle room available! In order to access the third room, the two players must stand on two blue triangle buttons, which will activate the door. The third Library Basement room contains the Ice Witch Hat, which both players will receive once opening the Treasure Chests blocked by the bookshelves. Once completing the room, both players will receive the Strawberry Witch Hat.

Room Instructions

1. Both players must stand on the two blue triangle buttons.
2. The player on the right side interacts with the lever, causing the bookshelf on the left side to lower, allowing the left side player to access the Treasure Chest with the Ice Witch Hat.
3. The player on the left side interacts with the lever, causing the bookshelf on the right side to lower, allowing the right side player to access the Treasure Chest with the Ice Witch Hat.
4. The player on the right side can stand on the pink button, causing the correct path to appear on the left side for the left side player. Alternatively, the player on the left side can stand on the pink button, causing the correct path to appear on the right side for the right side player.
5. One of the players may walk across with the correct path activated, while the other must walk across without the correct path activated.
6. The player on the right side can stand on the pink button, causing the correct path to appear on the left side for the left side player. Alternatively, the player on the left side can stand on the pink button, causing the correct path to appear on the right side for the right side player.
7. One of the players may walk across with the correct path activated, stand on the pink button on the other side, which will cause the correct path for the other player to appear, allowing them to walk across.

Spooky Secrets - Part IV

Quest Description

" Kuromi and TOPHAT are working together on the Haunted Mansion."

Quest Information

"Spooky Secrets - Part IV" is a "Multiplayer" Quest within the quest series. The player will meet Kuromi outside in Spooky Swamp. Once speaking to Kuromi, the player will be teleported to the Haunted Mansion's Secret Basement Library. Kuromi will then tell the player that there is a new puzzle room available! In order to access the fourth room, the two players must stand on two purple circle buttons, which will activate the door. The fourth Basement Library room contains a Sweet Dreams Stories, on the lounge in the first room. Once completing the room, both players will receive the Strawberry Witch Dress.

Room Instructions

1. Both players must stand on the two purple circle buttons to activate the door.
2. One player must go through the right side door and the other goes through the left side door. The right room has the correct path in it.
3. The player on the right uses the yellow star buttons as directional guidance for the player on the left to walk the correct path.
4. The player on the left side must walk across the correct path and pull the lever at the end. Alternatively, the player on the left can either use a thermal potion to pass over everything or memorize the solution beforehand.
