Celestree

The 
Celestree is a structure located on an island to the northwestern side of 
Cloud Island's 
Critter Corral.
How to Unlock
Repairing the Machine
To repair the Celestree, the player must complete a series of quests that begins with the "Reach for the Stars" quest and ends with the "Constellation Destination" quest.
When repaired, the Celestree introduces a new weather event, 
Starfall. A starfall occurs when the Celestree activates. The player does not have to be nearby. The activation occurs randomly and cannot be influenced by the player. The weather forecast in the player’s menu tablet will show when it is an upcoming weather event. Starfall only happens at 
night and takes the form of a star shower in a random region of Friendship Island.
Manual Activation
After completing the "Rainy Day Delight" quest, the player will be able to manually activate the Celestree once a week by crafting a 
Star Island Stone and placing it into the Celestree. Activating a weather machine causes the weather event to happen in a random region. A currently active machine cannot be manually activated until the weather event ends. Manually activating a machine during another weather event will end the other weather event even if they occur in different regions. It must be night to manually activate the machine for Starfall.
Starfall
Like all weather events, Starfall lasts 15 minutes. Because it is tied to the time of day, Starfall will only begin if it is currently 
night, so it can be started by changing the time with a 
bed in a 
Visitor Cabin or with 
Pekkle's 
Dance All Night Ability ability. However, this only applies once the normal wait period has ended.
Additionally, if the time changes to 
morning before the 15 minutes are up, changing the time to night will allow the weather event to continue.
What appears during Starfall depends on where the stars fall.

Manual Activation
After completing both the "Rainy Day Delight" and "Constellation Destination" quests, the player will be able to manually activate a Starfall event once every 7 days by crafting a Star Island Stone and placing it into the Celestree. Activating a weather machine causes the weather event to happen in a random region and can include regions outside of 
Friendship Island. A currently active machine cannot be manually activated until the weather event ends. Manually activating a machine during a different weather event will end the other weather event even if they occur in different regions.
Because Starfall can only occur at night, the Celestree can be activated only at night.
Starfall on Friendship Island
How to Unlock
Weather on Friendship Island does not change normally. Starfall is only unlocked after repairing the Celestree during a series of quests that begins with the "Reach for the Stars" quest and ends with the "Constellation Destination" quest. After that, the Celestree will activate during Starfall in any region, including regions not part of Friendship Island. The player does not need to be near the machine for it to activate.
Star Treasure
Star Treasure will appear during a Starfall only in 
Seaside Resort, 
Spooky Swamp, 
Gemstone Mountain, 
Mount Hothead, 
Merry Meadow, Cloud Island, and 
The Moon. When opened, each Star Treasure will have 3x 
Stardrops inside.
5x Star Treasure chests spawn per Starfall. They do not regenerate with the use of 
Island Bouquets. Even if the player was somewhere else during the starfall event, Star Treasure will stay spawned until the Stardrops are collected or replaced by another Starfall event in the same region!
Star Treasures can also contain:
The Cloud Star (Full Mix)
Fish Almanac #14 (in Cloud Island only; one per save)
If a find is limited to one per save, it can be found again if the find is collected by a 
Multiplayer visitor instead of by the host.
Turning off celebration animations in the "Settings: Gameplay" menu will skip the animation for opening Star Treasure.

Stardrops
Stardrops are a type of currency obtained by opening Star Treasures during or after starfall. Each Star Treasure contains 3x Stardrops, if it does not give something else instead.
Critter
When a Starfall occurs in Cloud Island, the player will also be able to catch 
Stardrakes around the region. Star Treasure will still appear in the region as well.
Catching the Stardrake is nearly impossible without 
Keroppi's 
Critter Friend Ability and 
Critter Calmer Ability abilities. It is also usually easier to use the 
Bubble Wand instead of the 
Net.
Fish
When Starfall occurs in 
Rainbow Reef, the player will be able to catch 
Starry Snipe, which can be found by 
fishing in the 
Kelp Maze or near the 
Comedy Club.
Star Treasures will not appear in Rainbow Reef.
Starfall in Wheatflour Wonderland
This content requires 
Wheatflour Wonderland.
It is available with the Wheatflour Wonderland DLC or as part of 
Apple Arcade.
Starfall occurs natively in Wheatflour Wonderland, without any quests required to unlock it.
It does not require the Celestree to be repaired. However, the Celestree can be used to start Starfall in Wheatflour Wonderland.
The only weather find of Starfall is a critter at the top of Tier 3. Star Treasures will not appear in Wheatflour Wonderland.
Wondrous Stone
After partially completing the Critter Temple, the Grand Flowl 
Spelt will gift the 
Instructions for the 
Wonderous Stone to the player. To use a Wonderous Stone, the player must have a Wonderous Stone in their 
inventory and speak to Spelt in the Critter Temple.
Spelt will give the player the choice to activate any one of the following: 
Flourfall, Starfall, or 
Rainfall in Wheatflour Wonderland. Any manually activated weather event will last the normal amount of time (15 minutes).
- This choice can only be made once every 7 days.
- If the same weather event is currently occurring in Wheatflour Wonderland, it cannot be manually activated until the weather event ends.
- Manually activating weather during another weather event will end the other weather event, even if they occur in different regions.
Critter
During Starfall, the player will be able to catch 
Floopy Balloopers in the 3rd tier of Wheatflour Wonderland, all around Sun Peak.
Because Floopy Balloopers are flying critters, they are generally easier to catch with the Bubble Wand but can be caught with the Net if close to the ground.
