Jam Jamboree

The Jam Jamboree is an Event in Hello Kitty Island Adventure and the twenty-second event to occur in-game. It was preceded by the Scholastic Celebration event. The event stand is located in Seaside Resort, and the event currency is collectible from any of the Island Residents. It will run from September 10th, 2024, until the end of September 23rd, 2024.

The Jam Jamboree will be available annually from September 10th to September 23rd.^{[note 1]}

Overview

It’s time for the Jam Jamboree! My Melody and Cinnamoroll team up to organize this festive fair that’s everywhere. Play mini-games around the Island to earn unique prizes, and celebrate this sweet season. According to the Collection Goals for the event, there are 18 types of items you can collect for this event.

Jam Jar

The Jam Jar is the main form of currency for the Jam Jamboree event. It can be used to purchase limited-time goods from the Jam Stand (Event Stand) in the Resort Plaza. Jam Jars are obtained by playing mini-games around Friendship Island. During the event, the Nuls running the mini-games will be wearing Jamboree Straw Hats with a Strawberry on them!

Each day, the player can play up to five mini-games to earn a maximum of 5x Jam Jars. The five mini-games played each day can be any mini-game, and the it does not matter whether the games played are the same or different each time. For example, the player could play Gem Match five times, or they could play a mix of any mini-games — either way, the player will earn Jam Jars until they hit the daily limit of 5. Additionally, winning the mini-game is not required to earn a Jam Jar.

Petunia

Petunias are flowers that grow in the wild during the Jam Jamboree. During the event, █ magenta Petunias can randomly appear at reset in any empty flower plot in the Merry Meadow, which is first available after the "Curious Caverns" quest. They are the only flower with the stripe pattern.

Petunias cannot be turned into seed packets by digging them up or by using the Seed Dispenser. However, they can be bred and can be moved around using the Trowel once they are grown. After the event ends, they can only be bred inside the Greenhouse, but they will still be able to develop their default stripe pattern anywhere if fertilized. Their plucked flowers are giftable.

Jam Stand

The Jam Stand (Event Stand) acts as a shop for Jam Jamboree's limited-time items. Jam Jars can be traded for clothes and furniture.

Outfits for Characters

Participating in the event can unlock different outfits for certain Island Residents. Once obtained, the player can ask the character to change into the outfit at any time. These are mostly unlocked through cutscenes that automatically trigger at resets sometime during the event.

My Melody receives an alternate outfit early on in the Jam Jamboree event, a combo set of the Jamboree Dress and the Jamboree Bow, both of which are dyed pink. The combo outfit is referred to in her outfit selection menu as the Jam Jamboree Outfit.
Hello Kitty also has the dress among her alternate outfit selections that is obtained during the same Jam Jamboree event. Although it is called the "Jam Jamboree Outfit" as is the case for My Melody's equivalent outfit, Hello Kitty's version consists only of the Jamboree Dress and no other parts of the set.
Cinnamoroll receives an alternate outfit early on in the Jam Jamboree event. The combo outfit is referred to in his outfit selection menu as the Jam Jamboree Outfit.
