A Clue On The Shore
A Clue On The Shore is a 
The Right Tools quest. The quest is unlocked when the player is working has completed the following quests:
- Open the Nature Preserve quest
- Comic Relief quest
- Bring Back the Swing quest
- Fire Up the Volcano quest
- A Long Awaited Introduction quest
- Swimming Lessons quest
Quest Description
"Something mysterious has washed up on the Island."
Quest Information
The player will meet 
Retsuko, who wants to show you something she found on the shores of 
Mount Hothead—a locked 
Treasure Chest! The player will then open the Treasure Chest, which will contain a 
Treasure Map. After speaking to Retsuko again, she will ask the player to talk to the following Island Residents: 
Keroppi, 
Badtz-maru, 
Pekkle, and 
Chococat. After the player has talked to everyone, the player must then go back to speak with Retsuko, which will prompt the arrival of Badtz-maru and 
Kuromi. Badtz-maru will reveal that he believes the 'x' on the map is somewhere near the 
Kelp Maze. Once everyone arrives at the location, there will be a mysterious machine there... but what does it do? The player must then go speak to Chococat, who says that he has a few materials needed to repair the machine. The player must then gift Chococat the following items: 10x 
Mechanism, 10x 
Woodblock, 10x 
Ingot, and 10x 
Beeswax. Once Chococat receives the materials, he will begin working on a fix!
The following part of this quest is the Island Stone quest.
