Chico
Location
Chico is a friend of 
Wish me mell and is a possible island visitor. To unlock her as a possible visitor in the 
Visitor Menu, the player must complete the "A Long Awaited Introduction" quest.
She can visit the player anytime if her 
Visitor Cabin Requirements are met. Until she reaches a 
5-star friendship level on the player's island, she will assign 
Daily Quests, one per visit to the island. Her daily gift is 
Blue Candle.
Personality
"Chico likes fashion and stories and adventures! She comes from Japan and loves cherry blossoms, since her birthday is in the Spring.”
Unlocks
Chico as a permanent 5-star resident is one of the requirements to unlock the following quests:
- "Fiery Flowers" quest
- Allows the player to plant flowers in
Mount Hothead, where the 
Heavy Nettle grows from any planted 
Seed. - Unlocks Chico as a companion
- Allows the player to plant flowers in
- "Grand Garden Gathering" quest
- Unlocks the
Greenhouse.
- Unlocks the
Visitor Cabin Requirements
For Chico to move into a Visitor Cabin, it must meet the following requirements:
- Must be in
Merry Meadow to be near Wish me mell. - Must have one piece of
Clothes on display (see 
Clothing Stand). - Must have five
meadow items. - Must have one
Sakura. - Must have one
Thistle.
To boost the chance of Chico visiting, add items with the liked tag: 
Springtime Celebration. Each liked item gives 1x 
heart, and up to 5x liked items can be included to earn a maximum of 5x hearts. Maximum hearts greatly increase the chance of a visit but do not guarantee it.
