Marin is a friend of 
Wish me mell and is a possible island visitor. To have her as a possible visitor, the player must complete the "A Long Awaited Introduction" quest.
She can visit the player anytime if her 
Visitor Cabin Requirements are met. Until she reaches a 
5-star friendship level on your island, she will assign Daily Quests, one per visit to your island. Her daily gift for talking to her is 5x 
Fertilizer.

Unlocks
Marin as a permanent 5-star resident is one of the requirements to unlock the following quests:
- "Reefside Riches" quest
- Allows the player to plant flowers in the
Rainbow Reef, where the 
Anemone grows from 
Seeds.
- Allows the player to plant flowers in the
- "Grand Garden Gathering" quest
- Unlocks the
Greenhouse.
- Unlocks the
Visitor Cabin Requirements
For Marin to move into a Visitor Cabin, it must meet the following requirements:
- Must be in
Merry Meadow to be near 
Wish me mell. - Must have
Lou as a permanent resident. - Must have five pieces of
Kitchen Furniture. - Must have two
Face Accessories (see 
Clothing Stand). - Must have a
Heavy Nettle Candle.
