The Band is Back is an The Island Mystery quest series with a total of 4 quests and is unlocked after the player has completed Call to Adventure (quest series) and has at least 12 
Spirit Hearts given to the 
Island Spirit.
The Band is Back: Part 1
Quest Description
Explore what old friendships mean to 
Tuxedosam and help heal the Island Spirit
Quest Information
The player will meet Tuxedosam at his shop in 
Seaside Resort. When speaking to him, he'll ask about the player's progress in healing the Island Spirit. Afterwards, the player will meet Tuxedosam at the Island Spirit. He will ask if she is ready to see 
TOPHAT and 
Big Challenges, which she responds no. Tuxedosam will then suggest that he plays music with his band, Hapidanbui, to which the Island Spirit responds yes.
The player must then speak to both 
Badtz-maru and 
Keroppi who accept the invitation to play. Then the player must also speak to 
Pochacco, 
Hangyodon and 
Pekkle. Once doing so, Tuxedosam will then tell the player to talk to him the following day.
The Band is Back: Part 2
Quest Description
Explore what old friendships mean to Tuxedosam and help heal the Island Spirit
Quest Information
The player will meet Keroppi at the Comedy Club in 
Rainbow Reef. When speaking to him, he'll ask about the player to collect supplies for creating the floating stage! The player will need the following items: 10x 
Woodblock, 10x 
Fabric, 10x 
Rubber. After collecting the items, the player will then gift the supplies to Keroppi. Next the player must speak to Pekkle at the Dance Hall. Him and Pochacco are trying to come up with a song, but need some help, so they decide that they must speak to 
Retsuko. Retsuko will then help them create a song and the player must continue the quest the next day.
The Band is Back: Part 3
Quest Description
Explore what old friendships mean to Tuxedosam and help heal the Island Spirit
Quest Information
The player will meet Habidabui at the Dance Hall. After speaking to them, they must travel to the Floating Stage in Rainbow Reef. After arriving, the player must then take a 
photo with all of the members of Hapidanbui. Uh oh! The microphones are broken! The player must speak to Badtz-maru, who will suggest they speak to Retsuko in order to borrow her microphone. After getting the microphone from Retsuko, the player must then go to 
Chococat, who will begin creating a microphone after the player has gifted him 
Retsuko's Karaoke Microphone.
The Band is Back: Part 4
Quest Description
Explore what old friendships mean to Tuxedosam and help heal the Island Spirit
Quest Information
After speaking to Chococat the player will receive the Crafting Plans for the 
Microphone. The player must then craft 6x Microphone.

After crafting the 6x Microphone, the player must then gift them to Tuxedosam. Once they do so, the Habidabui band will perform a short song! After the event, the player must then gift Retsuko her Karaoke Microphone back.
