Friendship Never Fades (quest series)
"Friendship Never Fades (quest series)" is a 
"The Island Mystery" quest series with a total of 3 quests. The quest is unlocked when the player reaches friendship level 13 with 
Big Challenges and has completed the "The Mystery Tree: Part 4" quest and waited until the next reset after completing the "Purple Rain" quest.
After completing each quest in the series, the player must wait until the reset to start the next quest.
Friendship Never Fades: Part 1
Quest Description
"Help 
TOPHAT and Big Challenges find the source of the fading."
Quest Information
The player will meet TOPHAT on the beach of 
Seaside Resort. He will thank the player for saving him from his run-in with the 
Cloud Router, which has consequently jogged his memory... a little too much. He will get a flashback, showing a photo of him, Big Challenges, and Friendship Island, who is revealed to call herself 
Island Spirit. Suddenly, 
Kuromi will arrive, telling everyone that 
Keroppi has found something. The player will then meet Keroppi at 
Spooky Swamp, along with the other Island Residents. He will explain to the player that The Fading is spreading to more parts of the island causing intense sadness — TOPHAT explains that the Island Spirit must be sad too! Keroppi then goes over prior events where we helped the island and he could feel her presence and Kuromi thinks there are two angels to blame — the 
LittleTwinStars!
The player must then travel up to 
Cloud Island to speak to 
Kiki and 
Lala. The player will ask to learn about the Island Spirit, and while Kiki would love to share, Lala tries to keep him quiet. At the end of the secretive conversation, Lala gives the player one hint: "Follow the heart, and you can't go wrong." After speaking to Kiki and Lala, the player must then travel back to Spooky Swamp to speak with TOPHAT. Keroppi will mention that he can hear something he cannot explain, but asks the player to listen. The player will then close their eyes and sounds will begin to play, afterwards the player will receive a 
Strange Botanical Rhythm. 
Cinnamoroll will then arrive, telling the player that there are even MORE areas of the island that are beginning to fade.
Next, the player must then travel to Seaside Resort and speak with 
Badtz-maru, who is on the beach near the dock. After some dialog, the player, Keroppi, and Badtz-maru will sit to listen. The group's meditation session is interrupted by Badtz-maru, who is hungry — so the player must then give him any consumable item. Once Badtz-maru's stomach is satisfied, the group will begin again. After listening, the player will receive a 
Strange Lulling Rhythm.

Quest Description

Quest Information
The following day, the player will meet Keroppi on the beach of Seaside Resort, where he will be resting to the sound of the peaceful waves. After speaking to him, the player must then meet Keroppi at the 
Mount Hothead 
Caldera, where 
Pochacco will also be training for the Island Decathlon. The player, Keroppi, and Pochacco will then begin to meditate to the sound of the Caldera, and the player will receive a 
Strange Molten Rhythm. Keroppi then realizes that we are listening to Island Spirit's heart!
Next, the player must meet Keroppi at 
Icy Peak, inside one of the caves. Upon the player's arrival, Keroppi will be standing near 
Tuxedosam, who is enjoying the snowy cave. The player, Keroppi, and Tuxedosam will then begin to meditate to the rhythm of Icy Peak, and the player will receive a 
Strange Glacial Rhythm. After collecting the fourth and final rhythm, suddenly the Strange Botanical Rhythm, Strange Lulling Rhythm, Strange Molten Rhythm, and Strange Glacial Rhythm will begin to swirl around the player until combining to create a large pink heart about their head.
Suddenly, Keroppi and the player will be transported to The Hole where there is a strange blob of 
Dark Water blocking a cave entrance. Keroppi suggests that maybe the Island Spirit is hiding there! The player must then swim up to the Dark Water and use the 
Cloudlight on the Dark Water, which will reveal the cave entrance to the 
Heart of the Island. Once entering the cave to the Heart of the Island, the player and Keroppi will have to swim forward to the Island Spirit. Keroppi will feel worried about the Island Spirit's sadness and express his desire to help her, TOPHAT and Big Challenges will also arrive! Alas, the Island Spirit expresses that she is afraid to be hurt again and does not wish for anyone's help. The player's vision will go black and then they will wake up to a concerned Kiki and Lala — who rescued you from a terrible situation you cannot remember. Lala tells you that you should try again tomorrow.

Quest Description

Quest Information
The next day, the player will meet Keroppi in the Spooky Swamp graveyard. He has been pondering about the Island Spirit and thinks that TOPHAT and Big Challenges have done something to upset her. 
My Melody will then appear to ask if the player and Keroppi are okay. After a while, My Melody suggests showing the Island Spirit what friendship is really like, by bringing a best friend to the Heart of the Island. The player must then bring a 
Best Friend to the Heart of the Island — in order to do this, the player must have reached maximum friendship with the Island Resident, indicated by a golden heart, and the Island Resident must be able to be the player's companion.
Once the player has one of their best friends as a companion, they must then travel to Heart of the Island, Keroppi will also be there to accompany the player. The Island Spirit will be surprised that they player returned, in addition to the player bringing one of their best friends. The Island Spirit will then explain how her best friends, TOPHAT and Big Challenges, have hurt her by leaving her all alone. Keroppi will then attempt to kindly convince the Island Spirit that TOPHAT and Big Challenges intended no harm and they both sincerely care about her. The Island Spirit will then begin to glow, and officially introduce themselves as the Island Spirit. She will explain how she misses TOPHAT and Big Challenges but is afraid to be hurt again, so she wants to take some time. Keroppi reassures her that it's okay to not feel ready and that many people love her. She will express that the player and their friends have shown true friendship to each other and her.
Suddenly, a heart will appear between the player's best friend and the player. It will spin quickly until turning yellow and float towards the Island Spirit. The large heart that she is inside will glow a strong light, before the Island Spirit says, "A true friendship... Yes... and any friendship strengthens my heart..." Next, Kiki and Lala will appear, reiterating what the Island Spirit said previously. Afterwards, Island Spirit tells the player to continue making friendships while she rests.
