Welcome to Friendship Island, home to Big Adventures Park, where friendships are key and adventure is just around the corner! Join your supercute new friends on a trip to their dream vacation — a gorgeous world teeming with adorable creatures and fish, delicious food, and many mysteries to explore. Get to know supercute and friendly faces like Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and more by discovering their likes, questing alongside them, and eventually becoming best friends. Craft rare items, solve ancient puzzles, and decorate cabins to bring new visitors and create your ultimate island paradise.

The 4 main overworld areas are usually connected to each other with mere sandbanks, with Gemstone Mountain and Mount Hothead additionally connected by a cliff and a stone bridge. There are also approximately 25 smaller islands, give or take a few, including (but not limited to) Moon Island, Hopscotch Islands and Cozy Islands.

The area is bordered to the north by a very tall rock cliff with a flat desert plateau on top. While the player can climb to the top with the use of Stamina Recharge Potions and Pekkle's Companion Abilities and walk around on the desert's edges, it is not considered in-game to be a part of the Friendship Island area.
